Observation Deck at 300 Tours

Observation Deck at 300
Located 984 feet (300 meters) above ground, Abu Dhabi’s Observation Deck at 300 commands bird’s-eye views over the United Arab Emirates capital. From here, visitors can gaze down at the city’s Corniche, skyscrapers, beaches, and waterways, as well as the Persian Gulf beyond, and enjoy a drink at the sleek café-bar.
The Basics
The Observation Deck at 300 is located on the 74th floor of the Jumeirah at Emirates Tower Hotel, in Tower 2 of Abu Dhabi’s 5-tower Etihad Towers development. Plush leather chairs and telescopes by the floor-to-ceiling windows showcase the views.
After paying an entrance fee, visitors ride high-speed elevators to the deck, where they’re free to stroll and admire the 360-degree views at their own pace. The views extend across almost the entire city, including the Emirates Palace Hotel below and the islands to the south, and on a clear day, to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque to the east. Admission includes a voucher redeemable at the café-bar, encouraging you to enjoy the views over a drink.
Things to Know Before You Go
  • The Observation Deck at 300 is a must for photographers, families, and first-time visitors to Abu Dhabi.
  • The café serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, plus salads, quiches, ice cream, and teas and coffees.
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi is available.
  • A smart casual dress code applies. If you’re unsure, call the Jumeirah at Etihad Hotel before visiting.
How to Get There

The Jumeirah at Etihad Hotel rises from Abu Dhabi’s Corniche West Street, right by the water. By car, take the Corniche Road south with the Emirates Palace on your right and follow the signs to Corniche West Street. If you’re arriving by cab, ask the driver for Tower 2 of the Etihad Towers. Regular buses run to nearby Corniche Street, about a 10-minute walk away.
When to Get There
The Observation Deck at 300 is open daily from 10am to 7pm. It can get busy during the late mornings and late afternoons, particularly on Fridays and during the peak season of November–March. For the best views, visit early when the skies are usually clearer, or at dusk to watch the sunset bathe the city in gold.
Afternoon Tea at Observation Deck at 300
To get the best from a visit to the observation deck, make a reservation for afternoon tea. The menu, which includes cakes and sandwiches served with your choice of tea, coffee, or Champagne, is served between 2pm and 6pm. Book a day in advance to avoid disappointment.
