Montenegro real experience tour- off the beaten path
2
Panoramic views, good wine, liquors and food is what this tur is about. So we start the tour with a 25 serpentines of old road over Boka Bay. You will find out why this road is must do in Montenegro...
Town of Rijeka Crnojevica which the royal Crnojevic family held as the capital back in the 15th century. A hundred years back it was the largest port in Montenegro, also a leading trading center. Next to the short promenade featuring a local symbol - stone bridge 135 years old.
Our best pick is a panoramic road known as Paul's side which gives great views, made for postcards.
Of course, nothing in Rijeka Crnojevic is done without visiting local winery - wine, liquor and food degustation. Time you will love to remember.
Optional additional activity: River Crnojevica boat ride

Crmnica Wine Road Tour
Montenegrin wines have a long and rich tradition, owing to the good conditions and favorable climate in the coastal areas as well as in the interior, which favor the cultivation of vines. Two autochthonous varieties to which the Montenegrins are particularly proud are Vranac – special taste and color of dark ruby and Krstač – dry wine with a minimum of residual sugar. Tradition of grape growing in Montenegro dates back to the 2nd century BC. The wine is stored in barrels and other wooden drums in almost ideal climatic and technological conditions. In the mid-19th century, the Montenegrin King Nikola Petrović saw the enormous possibilities of this region and the power of local wine … and brought the regulation: “Every soldier from the place where the vine grows must plant two hundred grapevines”! As for Montenegrin wine, a new era began, and Montenegrin Vranac won the first prize in 1907 at a wine exhibition in London.
