This tour allows you to admire the natural beauties of Puglia riding an assisted pedal bike with little effort and lots of fun. Discover what nature has to offer: a wonderful countryside full of colors and scents. You will cross a unique landscape like that of the Trulli of Alberobello and you will arrive in the cellar with a guided tour of the vineyards, visit of the traditional 18th century farm with an explanation of the vinification and final tasting phases. The real and unique Puglia starts here.
We will ride in the heart of Valle d'Itria between country trulli and historic farms. Together we will reach Alberobello and tell you about its architectural beauty and its history. We will visit the trulli, now a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Church of Sant'Antonio and the monumental area. The Trullo Siamese, Trullo Sovrano and the Basilica of the Santi Medici and the RIone Aia Piccola. When we return to Noci we will stop for a typically Apulian refreshment and we have an identical menu even for those with gluten or lactose intolerances.
During the training we will stop to taste the "Pasqualino", to get to know the atmosphere of the Apulian flavors of the past. Tasty refreshments and hard training are the ingredients of this cycling experience. We present the "Pasqualino": the sandwich with a recipe born in the sixties, of uncertain origins, with an unlikely combination of flavors. This sandwich usually consists of a rosette or turtle and is stuffed, in that order, with tuna, capers, salami and provolone. It is often prepared with the addition of giardiniera. In Alberobello, however, it is widely believed that this sandwich was invented by Pasquale Dell'Erba, then the owner of a delicatessen in front of which he used to meet some of his friends. It was precisely these dear friends of his who began each time to make a Pasqualino.
