The Basics

Highlights include the Harborplace shopping center, waterfront restaurants serving up fresh seafood and other specialties, and Baltimore’s pyramid-shaped National Aquarium—home to jellyfish, dolphins, and sharks. You can also learn about the city’s seafaring history at the Maritime Museum.

Whether you want to stroll along the promenade or cruise above the city in a helicopter, there are multiple options for exploring Baltimore’s Inner Harbor area. Dinner cruises and yacht charters are a good way to explore Chesapeake Bay, while ghost tours and walking tours typically depart from the Inner Harbor area and include visits to sites such as Key Bridge, Fort McHenry, and the Federal Hill neighborhood.

Amazing and fantastic Crew- Captain Inky, his beautiful wife, and Joshua - all terrific! We had a beautiful and unforgettable afternoon sail for my husband’s birthday. The crew was polite, highly skilled and knowledgeable, accommodating, and kept us very safe. We would highly recommend this adventurous sailing excursion and would do it again in a heartbeat⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We sailed on Monday 10/5/20 and wonderful time. Angela and Nick were knowledgable hosts and Nick shared much about the history of the Baltimore Harbor area. The four of us felt very safe and were impressed with the attention paid to Covid protocol (distancing, mask wearing, etc.). We highly recommend this tour and thank Nick and Angela for a great trip abound the harbor!

Baltimore Inner Harbor Sail on Summer Wind
Tom was very friendly and knowledgeable and his crew of two was great. It was not busy on this day and it was just me, my wife and our nine-year-old daughter. We were offered beverages and when it appeared my daughter was chilly she was offered a blanket. The Summer Wind was a sturdy and comfortable sailing craft and Tom answered questions and his crew engaged in conversation with us and our daughter between performing their duties. I would very much recommend a cruise on the Summer Wind for anyone wishing a cruise of Baltimore Harbor as a fun diversion at a reasonable price.

Captain Tom and his first mate Lindsay were just amazing. My out of town guest are still talking about it the next day. It was a beautiful day and we learned more about the inner harbor and it’s history by just asking. Very relaxing and worth every penny. Great experience especially for out of town guest to experience Baltimore.

It was fun. Questions were easy. Not enough time to answer once you arrived and started to read. But good time.
