This half-day small-group hike from Varenna follows the Sentiero del Viandante trail through scenic woodlands, olive groves, and mountain paths, including spectacular views over Lake Como.

We will walk through its picturesque stone alleys admiring the elegance of its boutiques and restaurants to reach Riva Grande where we will start our 2h kayak experience: a real immersion in nature. We will cross the bay and circumnavigate the hamlet, paddling along the beautiful coast of Varenna, the very center and beating heart of Lake Como, passing by noble mansions and villas and continue towards Villa Monastero which offers a wide panorama of the Eastern part of the lake and the Alps. Riding our Ebikes, we will ride for 35 km to discover the wonders of one of the oldest cities in Italy. A panoramic tour that offers pleasure and fun without too much effort! We will walk around the hills of Bergamo outside the Old City, passing between the wood of the Allegrezza and the hill of Benaglia, up to the Val d'Astino with its monastery and then visit the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Sombreno, located on the extreme western spur of the Hills of Bergamo. At the foot of the hills it will be possible to visit the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Castagna and the Parco dei Colli up to the inside of the city. Here we will visit the Piazza Vecchia, the Duomo, Santa Maria Maggiore and the Lavatoio Antico. We will conclude the excursion passing by the Rocca and the Castle of San Virgilio, the last outpost guarding Bergamo and its territory. We will begin with a brief introduction on how the excursion will take place and then we will begin to pedal in complete safety.

Around Varenna there are many gems worthy of seeing, two of which are certainly the 'Fiume Latte' and 'Castello di Vezio'. On this fun and super panoramic route, we take you to visit both of these special places by bike, all along secondary roads offroad trails, fun to ride with a few optional challenging parts to test your comfort zone. We will even cross the "Bosco delle streghe" or "Witches' Woods". If you want to have a go at mountainbiking while enjoying and visiting some of Lake Como's wonders, then this is the tour for you!
