A great leg of the Vltava river! The water flow is safe and lively at the same time which gives you a very refreshing feeling. In about two hours you will see an impressive picture of the Rozmberk castle – the finishing point. You will be facing 3 weirs while boating down this river leg. The first one comes after ca 800 m – rafts will manage well but canoes or kayaks should be transferred [by hand!]. The second one emerges in Herbertov – ca 4 km from the start [canoes can go through the chute while rafts should cross the weir]. The last weir is in Rozmberk [both canoes and rafts can use the chute]. Our station [the finish of your trip] is located ca 400 m after the last weir. That is where you hand over the boat and get the lift from.
Be sure not to miss the UNESCO-listed medieval town of Cesky Krumlov. It will be one of the highlights of your trip to Europe. Promise! Have a break during your trip from Hallstatt to Prague and immerse yourself in the splendour of the 16th-century town subtly lurking upon the Vltava river, whose tranquil and silent murmur highlights the sublime impression of the Renaissance environment. Let yourself be overwhelmed by the monumental chateau, stroll down the majestic garden combining elements of English parks and French royal gardens and lose yourself among the gorgeous burghers houses whose uniqueness contributed to the inclusion of the town among the UNESCO sites.
This is a day for KIDS! This tour is for families who want to please the youngest members as well. Kids will love the day out of the city, a day for them, a day when their joy is the first. Adult will also enjoy this restful day, not running from castle to main square and to museum, but refreshing in the nature. We do not run, not following a schedule, but free to wonder and rest. Travel should not be more tiring than everyday life!
