The Basics

Most city tours make a stop at the popular Mosque–Cathedral of Cordoba. Guided tour options range from an hourlong history tour focused on the cathedral and former mosque to a half-day walking tour with stops at other Cordoba monuments such as the Castle of Catholic Monarchs (Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos) and the ancient synagogue of the Jewish Quarter. Others visit the Mezquita on a day trip from Seville, Granada, or Costa del Sol.

A great experience: I strongly recommend
The guide was really interesting, even for our child. The guide was excellent! The group was small and friendly. We received a nice small gift.

Full-day Cordoba Tour from Seville, including Cordoba Mosque
There are tour guides and then there are tour guides - people who are chock full of so much interesting information and really bring a site to life before your eyes. Peter was one of these guides - he could make walking down an empty street fascinating. We learned so much during this tour and consider it one of the highlights of our overall trip to Spain. Carmona & Cordoba should not be missed!

Cordoba: Mosque,Cathedral, Alcazar & Synagogue with Skip the Line Tickets
The mosque was wonderful. Since the tour also includes the Jewish quarter, I think that more history on how the Jews of Spain were tortured and murdered during the Spanish Inquisition would be appropriate.

Mosque Cathedral of Cordoba History Tour
Our guide was called Ankel. He was excellent and explained the history of the mosque and cathedral very clearly to our group. He clearly loves his job and is very good at it. I will certainly use Viator again in the hope that their guides in different cities are as professional.

Alcazar gardens and the mosque and cathedral. The Jewish quarter was fascinating but very crowded. Our guide was extremely well versed in the history of this area and era.

Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba Guided Tour with Priority Access Ticket
Overall a very good tour. I hate to be critical of someone's English who's from Spain as I don't speak any Spanish past hola; however, the guide we had was a little more challenging for us to understand than other tour guides we had in Spain. He was very knowledgeable and we did learn a lot. I would not hesitate to do this group tour.
