Fun Adventure!
We had lots of fun! Me and my two children are not strong swimmers, so the instructor stayed with us in the water to make sure we were ok. They were really patient and cared about our safety. They gave really good instructions for first time snorkelers.

This excursion was very very fun. The guides were very entertaining and accommodating in terms of safety and hospitality. The did tour did seem slightly rushed and was not a full four hours as stated. The snacks were great as were the drinks. Overall I do believe it is worth the money.

We got to go snorkelling on the reef, saw starfish and enoyed some guacamole and beer in clear beautiful water. The crew was the best. They were very good explaining safety and watching over us while snorkelling. They made the guac and we rocked out to tunes while riding the catamaran

I was expecting full glass bottom but in fact it’s only partly (4x3). Otherwise it’s good. Help me snorkel and spend good time. No rush!

Tour guide Dave was welcoming and fabulous! Very attentive to snorkeling safety and making sure we were having a great time as well with plenty of tequila, cerveza, & non-alcoholic drinks. Tour stopped at three places from deep to shallow waters so you could see different marine life. Colorful fish, lots of stingrays & starfish etc...Amazing fun experience &adventure that I would highly recommend when you visit Cozumel Island.

We were a family of 10 ranging in age from 5-73. Julian and his team made sure all of us had an exceptional experience. They explained everything to make sure we were all comfortable snorkeling. They went above and beyond in helping our smallest snorkeler have a great experience. The reefs we visited were awesome. We would highly recommend Coral Reef Snorkeling by Glass Bottom Boat.

We had an amazing time. All of the crew made sure we had everything we needed and treated us like we were the only ones on the boat. The snorkel tour was unbelievable, the guide made sure we saw everything we could.

The only downside would be I wish we spent longer in the water! It was absolutely fantastic. We will be going back for sure.

Snorkeling was Great - The Guides were Better!

Really enjoyed the snorkeling, such natural beauty! Our guides Julian and Barulio (unsure of spelling) were really friendly and lots of fun. Santi, who was on board was very friendly and had great conversations with my wife, who ended up not snorkeling but still had a great time because of Santi. Great time all around!

How to Get There

Paradise Reef is located off the island of Cozumel near Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. It lies south of the Puerta Maya Cruise Ship Pier and is one of the first dive sites in the Cozumel Marine Park. Experienced swimmers can do the dive from shore, but most choose not to fight the current and instead dive from a boat. You can opt for a private charter boat or a guided tour.

Cozumel’s Coral Reefs

Cozumel is best known for its expansive coral reefs, some of the largest in the world. Paradise Reef and the Palancar Gardens are ideal spots for novice divers and snorkelers due to their shallow depth and offer a chance to glimpse sea turtles, colorful fish, towering coral spires, and gently waving sea fans. The Palancar Caves are probably the most famous dive site, with huge brain corals and swim-through tunnels. Palancar Horseshoe is another massive formation of corals.
