The Basics

The vision of snow-capped Teton peaks reflecting off the waters of Jackson Lake ranks among this national park’s most stunning sights. Other than the lodges, the majority of facilities are at Colter Bay, where there’s a marina, visitor center, campground, and store.

Most guided tours of Grand Teton from Jackson Hole, Cody, or West Yellowstone include a stop at the lake, along with other popular park attractions such as Jenny Lake, the Snake River, Chapel of the Transfiguration, and the Maud Noble Cabin.

Grand Teton National Park - Sunrise Tour from Jackson Hole
We enjoyed Ben’s knowledge and humor taking us through all the hidden gems of the Grand Tetons. From 39 to 75 years old this trip exceeded our expectations. We 100% would use this company again (with hopes that Ben would be available to guide us).

Phil was an excellent guide - was very knowledgeable and shared some good stories. Highly recommend this tour. Jenny Lake was beautiful! We saw elk on the side of the road, and a few that crossed in front of our bus.

Grand Teton National Park Tour from Jackson Hole
We enjoyed the views of the Grand Tetons. Our tour guide, Mike took us the road to the Mormon Row, Signal Mountain, Jenny Lake and Jackson Lake. We really enjoyed seeing the wildlife, bison, pronghorn along the Scharkabar (sp) road. He was very informative and personable guide. We were able to look through the scope that he had along to see some of the animals and landscape up close. He was patient as my sister and I couldn't walk too far without taking a break. It was a very enjoyable day.

Grand Teton National Park - Sunrise Tour from Jackson Hole
Our guide Nick tracked a Grizzly for us like a pro! He got it s within 10 feet to take the most amazing photos. Nick got us to close to Moose, Pronghorns, many Elk and Bisson including Trumpeter Swans and Cranes and Geese, pelicans and and Ducks, Bluebirds and Mule Deer! Nick was the reason we saw so much wildlife, he knew where to go to find the best location for photos up close!

Our tour guide Nick was amazing and full of knowledge! Was nice to take in the scenery without having to drive. We were hoping to see more wildlife but that is out of the control of the company. The breakfast and lunch were really good too!

Grand Teton National Park - Full-Day Guided Tour from Jackson Hole
Brian, or Stone as we called him, was a wonderful guide! He was very knowledgeable about the park and its fauna and flora. The weather was not very cooperative the day we were there (cold and rainy) but Stone did everything he could to help us see and enjoy the beautiful Tetons. The breakfast and lunch were excellent, too. We highly recommend this tour, and hopefully you will get Stone as your driver and guide!
