The Basics

Travelers love strolling Venice Beach to take in the bohemian boardwalk and its brightly colored murals, funky shops, and street performers, including the Sunday afternoon drum circle. A hop-on hop-off bus tour is a great way to explore Venice Beach on your own schedule, while renting bikes or roller skates enables you to cover more ground—and blend in with the locals. This sandy spot is typically visited on Los Angeles city sightseeing tours and is sometimes paired with a stop in Santa Monica.

Private Surfing Lesson in Venice Beach
Alejandro was a patient, kind, thorough instructor. We had no experience & we all managed to get up (at least briefly). If I lived locally, I would try to get frequent lessons from him. Great instructor! Thank you so much for such great memories.

Small Group Electric Bicycle Tour of Santa Monica and Venice Beach
We loved the sights and riding with Barb. I got to see aspects of the city that I didn’t know existed. The electric bikes were great, too. Barb took us thru crowds and streets safely.

Absolutely Amazing

Private Surfing Lesson in Venice Beach
Not even sure where to begin. Our son just turned 18 and he wanted to learn to surf. We found Fun Surf LA through Viator. The entire experience was Amazing with a capital A. His private lesson was led by Nick, who was incredibly knowledgeable and took our son under his wings. It was so evident that Nick loved to surf (this wasn't just a job) and his passion came through. Within a few minutes our son was in the ocean attempting to ride waves - due to Nick's guidance and support, our son had no fear. Our son's comments -- he can't wait to have another lesson and he felt like Nick was a big brother - so easy to talk to and learn from. What more could one ask for. We highly recommend Fun Surf LA and a private lesson with Nick.
