Depending upon the option chosen, Children (8 - 12) or Teenagers (13 - 16), there are different sets of questions to be answered while we wander around pedestrianized squares in the old part of Mainz. At the end of each section we will talk about the answers before proceeding to the next location. At the end of the City Quiz a sweet prize will be awarded (if agreed).

The smell of spices, roasted almond, mulled wine (Glühwein) and many, many more delicacies will accompany us through the alleys. Also bring some money for all the Holiday handmade decorations sold in hundreds of festive stalls in the Mainz Christmas market next to the city's Cathedral of St. Martin. Here you will also several concerts and stage events to enjoy, such as the traditional fairy tale production at the State Theatre beloved by generations. Not to miss is also the large illuminated Christmas pyramid, richly decorated with hand-carved life-size crib figurines.
