Great stories, food and atmosphere.
Title says it all, but apparently it needs more characters because of course giving 5 stars and a short, sweet and accurate 5 words or 31 characters isn’t enough. If your into it or curious about the local cuisine and history, do it.

Chef Eric and his crew were the BEST. We had great fun cooking, relaxing, visiting with other participants and NOT cleaning up.

Delightful and delicious demonstration dining experience. A history lesson as well as a cooking lesson! Chef Tom was a wealth of information. A food tour without the walking. Excellent option any time, but certainly in inclement weather.

New Orleans Demonstration Cooking Class & Meal
Excellent! Excellent! Everyone will have a different experience with different chefs, crowds, and people you bring. Our class had a few people that make this a regular thing for themselves. The food was excellent and I love that we got the recipes to take home!

New Orleans Demonstration Cooking Class & Meal
The class was lead by Harriet. She is a very enthusiastic teacher and historian who knows about Louisiana cuisine. The food tasting was wonderful. We watched her make Gumbo, Jambalaya and lastly, Pralines. I would take her other classes any time. Well worth the money.

Food, Comedy & Culture!

New Orleans Demonstration Cooking Class & Meal
The class was both informative & entertaining. It exceeded my expectations. The food was tasty and the chef shared so much historical information about the Creole, German, French and American influence on the culture. Who can resist food, comedy & history all in one?

New Orleans Hands-On Cooking Class & Meal
I had been wanting to do this class for at least 2-3 years when I first picked up the pamphlet on our last visit. Chef Ricardo was our Chef for the evening. He was very informative and fun to learn from. Our group of ten got along well and had a great time. The food was off the hook and I just can’t wait to get back home so I can start to cook for family and friends. Thank you New Orleans School of cooking, another item checked off the ‘ol Bucket List!
