The Basics

Niagara-on-the-Lake is famous for its wine, art, and music culture. The town is home to dozens of wineries, ranging from small boutiques to large estates, each with its own personality. Visitors can sample the area’s wide variety of world-class wines on a small-group wine tasting tour, enjoy a gourmet meal at one of the area’s restaurants, or opt for a private food and wine-tasting excursion with an expert tour guide. A bike tour of the area is a good option for travelers who want to get some exercise, take in the surroundings, and sample local wine along the way. Fans of the performing arts can visit one of the town’s many theaters, such as the Shaw Festival Theatre, Court House Theatre, and Royal George Theatre, while art aficionados can stop by galleries including the Angie Strauss Gallery and the Romance Collection Gallery. For an overview of Niagara highlights, take a day trip from Toronto and visit Niagara-on-the-Lake along with popular attractions such as Whirlpool Rapids, Queenston Heights, and the historic Fort George. It’s also possible to combine a visit with a ride aboard the Hornblower Niagara cruise ship for amazing views of all three falls.

Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake Day Tour from Toronto
Very, very good experience. I will recommend it 100%. Profesional driver and full of knowledge. I had booked an helicopter ride and he went way and beyond to make sure we accomplish the other tour as well. The winery stop is a plus. The only bad thing it was that I had to use the washroom feom the bus and it was unacceptable(extremely bad odor).

Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake Day Tour from Toronto
Great experience and way to know the city and the whereabouts. I will recommend it. They only negative comment is that bus don’t always stop at the stops that they assign to do so. I they don’t see nobody at the stop they don’t even yield. Be cautious of that! I missed one🥴

Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake Day Tour from Toronto
Peter was delightful. Experienced guide and knew how to make the most of our time while navigating the weather. Would def book him again. Tour lasted about 8ish hours, from pickup @ 8:40 to dropoff @ 4:30, and I was the last on and first off.

This was my second time to Niagara but first time on the boat trip (it was icy last time) and with VIP tours. It couldn't have been better, we had a glorious time, very well organised and enough time to see things. We loved it and cannot the commend highly enough!

Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake Day Tour from Toronto
Viator I rarely write reviews about the tour that I take when traveling 🧳 but I was so happy with this Tour. That I had to tell people about it ! And what made the Tour very Special is The Guide : Kevin ! Kevin is a lovely Canadian Guide that wants to share the Culture of his Country with you ! He made the Tour so special by telling us all the History about The Niagara Falls, and was so happy to answer questions. Plus the fact that he spoke French made it easy to communicate with him. When I was on the Little Village Niagara on the Fall, I said to Kevin that I had a sweet tooth and asked for recommandations of ice cream and bakery..... And then, surprise, Kevin went to the Bakery and Offered me a Curd Pie ( a Canadian specialty) See that kind of gesture and attention made a difference and added value to the tour. Kevin is the nicest guide I have ever met in Toronto ! Always with a smile on his Face and very Friendly. I really appreciated the Tour with Him. I wish you all the best Kevin and keep up the good work 😉
