Siam Niramit Phuket

55/81 Moo 5, Chalermprakiet Rd, Phuket

The basics

Long before the performance starts, the cultural park around the Siam Niramit theater comes alive. Stroll the Thai Village, with its traditional wooden houses, to see live demonstrations of crafts from silk-making to weaving and rice preparation. Alternatively, rent costumes for a photoshoot, watch a dance performance or Muay Thai demonstration, or enjoy the light and fountain show.

Choose between silver, gold, and platinum seats for the performance: platinum seats are central and raised for the best views. Some packages include dinner at the theater’s great-value Thai and international buffet; others include transfers.

The Siam Niramit Story

The visuals and music are spectacular enough that you don’t need to follow the Siam Niramit story in detail. But the first act introduces Thailand’s four main regions, with their different cultures, costumes, and traditions; the second explores the mystical three worlds of Thai Buddhism, complete with floating angels; and the third reenacts key Thai festivals, such as the Songkran (New Year) water fight and Loy Krathong lantern festival.
