Vallarta Botanical Garden and Tequila Tasting from Puerto Vallarta
It was very informative tour, we learned a lot about vegetation of Puerto Vallarta and tequila making. We had fun day. Tomas was very professional and experienced guide. Also very multi-tasked guy, he was a driver and a guide same time.
A couple things I would suggest to improve the tour quality is a) pick up system. They picked us up from zona romantica then took us to close to Marina area, reorganized us to different vans by tour, and drove us back to Zona Romantica…it would be more efficient if the tour guide just pick us up from Zona Romantica. B) lunch timing. We were hiking and walking around Botanical garden all morning, we were tired, thirsty, hungry, thought we would have lunch before going to Tequila distillery, but Actually they took us tequila tasting before lunch. Having 8 shots of tequila before lunch was not good for my stomach at all… c) driving. As mentioned, the guide was a driver as well. While he was driving, he explained Puerto Vallarta geography by showing some maps. I was very scared and uncomfortable as I was very concerned if he was not paying attention to the road. Probably he was so used to driving and guiding same time.. but he should not show the maps while driving.
