Beautiful garden.
The views of the garden and knowing that the popes walked in this garden. The time for the bus tour was adequate.

Person assisting us as we were late and had a stolen wallet. Calmed us down, so that the tour was great

Agnes saved our day.

All Vatican: St. Peter's incl. scavi, Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museums & Gardens
The fact that I booked for April 13. Your confirmation email said April 13 yet on the day no guide showed up. A very wonderful woman named Agnes who worked in a tour office by the Vatican whom we managed to contact saved our day. Viator had the wrong date in their books. Agnes arranged for a refund and personally showed us the basilica. She was knowledgeable and just amazing.

All Vatican: St. Peter's incl. scavi, Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museums & Gardens
The scavi, St Peters and the Sistine Chapel were awesome. The garden was a waste of time. You should spend more time in the museum and less in the garden.

Vatican Gardens and Vatican Museums Exclusive VIP Group Walking Tour
Great tour and guide. Was poor on the directions to start the tour at. Its way north at museum entrance. Bring covid paper and passport. We thought it was just a garden tour. It was Sistine chapel and art.

Official 4 Hour Tour of Vatican Museums, Vatican Gardens & St. Peter's Basilica
3 hour tour was well worth it. Our tour guide Valentina was fantastic. You almost have to book this tour or odds are you won’t get in. The lines were long and it’s not even peak season. The Vatican is absolutely stunning

Not a well organized schedule but Agnus was great

All Vatican: St. Peter's incl. scavi, Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museums & Gardens
Agnus, our guide, was very well educated and provided a wonderful tour during her part. She I can recommend highly. The tour(s) as far as description, coordination, and schedule I wouldn’t recommend. We had a quick meeting with one person, were led to a very large group and handed off to another person (unexpected) for the garden tour, then just shown a map to find the second large group on our own, not affiliated with first group (even though we booked all tours as one group), and so on. It felt like we just were added on to other tours and blended in. It also was a large group, (which we didn’t want) since we picked this reservation since it seemed it would be smaller due to price and description. I’d save my money and booked the tours individually - you will save money. We paid 55 euros each more on top of a $300 US price online. If I had booked them each independently, Picking large groups, i would have saved money AND known and expected I’d be on my own to find everything for each tour. I felt it was misleading. It was listed as, “All Vatican: St. Peter's incl. scavi, Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museums & Gardens” but we had to scramble from group to group and place to place on our own. We missed one tour as a result. Agnus met us to show us some what we missed which was very appreciated but we could not see St Peter’s scavi- what we wanted to see most since we missed finding that group. For the price, I expected to be provided better guidance and direction. Tour organization- score of 2 stars. I didn’t want to put that for Agnus’ sake because she did her best to remedy it. Agnus-5 stars.

Vatican Gardens Highlights

In the 16th century, Pope Julius II commissioned Donato Bramante to rework the area into a Renaissance design; the architect installed a giant labyrinth, introduced Lebanese cedars, and built a fortified stone wall that’s still standing. In 1902, the Lourdes Grotto, a replica of the miraculous cave in France, was added.
