Viale Vaticano, Vatican City

The Basics

Small-group guided tours or skip-the-line tickets help guarantee hassle-free access to this popular attraction. Private morning tours offering early access (before the museums are open to the general public) are also excellent ways to enjoy the Vatican’s treasures in relative peace, while many group tours combine the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel with St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Gardens. If you’re traveling with kids, consider a kid-friendly guided tour that focuses on the museum’s highlights.

Faster Than Skip-the-Line: Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel Guided Tour
Christian was so knowledgeable and passionate about the Vatican museum. He also was concerned about our comfort and safety which made the tour more like a gathering of friends. We had an amazing experience and recommend this experience highly!!

Vatican Gardens and Vatican Museums Exclusive VIP Group WalkingTour
Great tour and guide. Was poor on the directions to start the tour at. Its way north at museum entrance. Bring covid paper and passport. We thought it was just a garden tour. It was Sistine chapel and art.

Early Access Vatican Museums Semi-Private Tour with Sistine Chapel & St. Peter’s
Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We saw the highlights and were able to continue exploring on our own. Did to Covid the crowds were very light except for in the Sistine Chapel. The 8:30 time slot helped with the crowds too.

Faster Than Skip-the-Line: Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel Guided Tour
Very clear and comprehensive commentary, the right pace for the tour, genuinely informative, and whole entry process to the Vatican was smooth- however due to Covid restrictions, visitors were probably 20% of normal capacity so there were No line ups - but when things are back to normal that I’m sure will change- but a positive experience

Faster Than Skip-the-Line: Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel Guided Tour
Christian was probably the most knowledgeable tour guide I have ever had in my life. If you want an in depth experience of the Vatican and its museums, you have come to the right place. Christian took the time in every location to explain in detail all the interesting facts and tid bits of information (he has been coming to the Vatican since he'd been a kid). 5/5, would love to do again because I'm sure there is so much more to learn.

The history and the art were excellently explained, and divine to enjoy. Our guide went above and beyond what I had expected. The group I was in was small and she took excellent care of us.

Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel Experience
The Vatican museum is AMAZING. It goes without saying. Being with a guide Like Lucia Ruosi from Carpe Diem, took it to a different level. Thank you !

The Vatican Museums sees crowds of travelers year-round. It's busiest in summer, when skip-the-line tickets or a private tour guide are essential; the museums are less crowded during winter.
