The basics

San Diego County offers more than 200 different craft breweries and tasting rooms. Green Flash Brewing Company, founded in 2002, is located in the Mira Mesa neighborhood and is well-known for its IPAs (India Pale Ales). At the brewery, go behind the scenes and watch the master brewers in action making different beers. Visits also include the chance to taste the beers of your choice from a selection of over 30 different types. After the tour, relax in the spacious beer garden and pick up some tacos from the on-site taco truck.

Things to know before you go

  • Visitors of all ages are welcome on the tour, however participants must be 21 or over to taste the beers.
  • Green Flash’s best-known beers are West Coast IPA, Palate Wrecker Hamilton’s Ale, and Le Freak.
  • The brewery is wheelchair accessible.
