Oak Creek Canyon

Oak Creek Canyon, AZ

The Basics

A scenic drive through beautiful Oak Creek Canyon is well worth the effort whether or not you actually need to travel north from Sedona. Grand Canyon day trips from Sedona pass through the gorge, as do small-group tours of the Sedona area (along with visits to the Chapel of the Holy Cross, Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, and Airport Mesa) and multi-day itineraries through Arizona.

Grand Canyon Day Tour with Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon
We had a great time on our tour to Sedona and Grand Canyon. Aldo was the name of our tour guide and he was so informative, telling us all the history on the way there. He was funny and I think the whole group had a great time, even though it was very cold that day. The Nebraska couple

Grand Canyon Day Tour with Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon
Seeing the Grand Canyon, of course! A lifelong dream of mine, and it was the experience of a lifetime. But this said, everything else was wonderful. Great lunch at a nice Mexican restaurant right before entering the Grand Canyon National Park. A wonderful drive through Oak Creek Canyon, and a stop in Sedona. All quite well-paced. And Eric, our driver and guide, was wonderful! Super nice, friendly and respectful.

Grand Canyon Day Tour with Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon
Our guide Taylor was awesome. He was courteous and friendly, and had great stories about Arizona and the Grand Canyon (amongst other topics). Learned so much about the land and its history. He made sure we saw all the best sites on our journey, and that we had enough time to soak everything in. Rain was beyond anyone’s control but the Grand Canyon was still breathtaking.

Grand Canyon Day Tour with Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon
I enjoyed the trip very much and Taylor was an excellent guide. He shared stories the entire trip and pointed out many things along the trip. The only disappointment was the amount of time in the actual van, feel the trip could have been more direct. Overall a great experience

If you only have one day to see the Grand Canyon, take this tour! My tour guide Tyson was so knowledgeable, I learned fascinating facts and stories I never would have known otherwise. The time at the Grand Canyon was perfect! Seeing Oak Creek Canyon and Sedona on the way back was also amazing. We saw SO MUCH in just one day. Highly recommend. I am so happy I did this tour.

Grand Canyon Day Tour with Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon
This was an amazing experience! My husband and I loved the Grand Canyon tour. Our guide was Taylor. He was the best! Extremely knowledgeable and told lots of great stories! We would have liked to spend more time in Sedona and experience more of the red rocks. We didn't get to that part of the tour til late. Overall, it was amazing! Would go back for sure!
