We have a passion for mountain guiding in North Wales. Through growing up in Wales, we have had the privilege of exploring many of these legendary Welsh hills. We love to share our knowledge while guiding you up these stunning mountains. We are confident you will also fall in love with the mountains before you leave. It's almost impossible not to! In this activity, we can help you explore new areas, take you up gentle mountains or safely guide you along knife edges ridges. Dolgam farm is the base for Snowdonia Nordic Walking - a working farm in the heart of Snowdonia. You will be arriving and parking here as well as starting/finishing the walk on site so there will be plenty of chance to see the farm in action. Our walk route depends on season and the people taking part - I will ensure it is suitable for your ability and the weather. We will take in some amazing views of Snowdonia!

With Snowdon being popular it's paths can become very crowded indeed. However, the path we will take only ever has a handful of walkers and midweek we'll have it to ourselves! This is remarkable as Snowdon is quite rightly the most visited mountain peak in the UK. This allows for our tour to the summit of sSnowdon to be a relaxed event and one with a true flavour of isolation. A true mountain experience, so to speak

Pushed up and out of the Ocean and shaped by the Ice age, the mountains of Snowdonia provide the perfect Scrambling playground, full of some of the best scrambles in the UK. World Class towering ridge lines and rocky buttresses, and exciting gullies, all accessible in a day. We will select the perfect route to guide you up, or perhaps you have a long held ambition you would like help with. Maybe you'd like to learn the skills required to scramble independently.

I live on a working farm in the heart of Snowdonia, with limitless beautiful walks on our doorstep - making this the perfect place to Start Your Nordic Walking Adventure in Wales! I take groups between 2 and 10 people which ensures a personal experience and ongoing support, tuition and attention. We stay on the farm for the duration, using the fields to practice. If you are interested in the history of the area or the farm itself, I will be happy to share information with you.

Your tour is operated by a local professional driver guide who lives in the area. (We don't subcontract to outside driver guides). During your tour we will introduce you to the unique culture of Wales, it's amazing history and some of the best scenery in the country. During the tour we make visits to the medieval walled town of Conwy, visit the town with the longest name in Wales and Britain, Caernarfon Castle for a photo stop, tour through the Snowdonia National Park glacial valleys with lakes and the stunning mountain passes. We also stop off at Swallow Falls (entrance £2 per person) and visit the pretty Welsh village of Betws-y-Coed and the riverside town of Llanwrst. We are flexible to provide a custom designed tour based on the duration booked and the agreed pick up locations.
