This is our new Original Ape tour Wine Experience, our driver will pick you up at your hotel or meeting point (districts 1 - 19) and brings with our iconic Ape Calessino to the hills of the 19th district, at the famous Mayer's Heuringer where you will experience Vienna's summer most loved activity...tasting great wine in the sun with many other like-minded locals. This is a one-way tour and has no time limits, we believe is all about following your own pace. The driver will drop you off on the top of the hills overlooking all the city of Vienna at Mayer's vineyards Heuringer, here you will receive a voucher to taste 3 different local wines, then sit back and enjoy this beautiful landscape in this vibrant local place! If you want to continue drinking or feeling hungry the Heuringer offers a wide variety of food and drinks, if you feel like a walk in the hills there's no better place to stroll around the vineyards taking pictures of the natural surroundings and the majestic views of Vienna and the Danube river. Each Ape can carry up to 3 people, multiple Apes are available for larger groups. Some people will spend 2-3 hours on the hills and others will stay after sunset, this is entirely up to you, this is why the tour is only one way. There are a few options to return to the city center, most people use a taxi or an uber, also available on selected days is a bus service to the city. You decide what we will do! I am just the local expert - I will be happy to organize your stay ... I love luxurious things (+ eating and drinking) and I hate waiting - so no waiting queues for us ;-) I love places with a view, Vienna has many good options for that. But of course, we could also explore Vienna's surrounding, lovely wine places (incl. Wine tastings) are in the city and nearby, the capitals Bratislava and Prague are not far away ... In Vienna itself, you decide if it should be a classical tour or if it is not your first time here, then will find alternative things, which you haven't seen or heard of ... The mentioned price is for a 2 hour tour (doesn't matter how many participants)! I also offer tours for children! Activities and museums which could be of interest for them ...
