Best rated Acropolis Wine Tasting

Our time at Athens Wine Tasting was absolutely fantastic. I knew a bit about wine prior and my husband knew nothing, but we both left feeling like we had learned loads about the history of wine, greek wine making, and how to appreciate each wines purpose. Olina was also incredible, she spent a lot of time making sure we understood the wines and their regions, and we had a great discussion on Santorini wines and the best wineries to try if you go to Santorini. She has loads of knowledge and experience, and we would 100% go back for a tasting again.

Olina was very knowledgable and hosted the small group of 3 very well. It felt very special. The wines were excellent and we learned a great deal about the wines that Greece has to offer - we had a very enjoyable experience and would highly recommend it.

My friend and I had the best time at the wine tasting. We learned a lot from our charming and very knowledgeable guide. The wines we tried were good and very different. All in all a great experience!

5 stars because there aren't 6! I am a bit of a wine snob and when I met our 20-something 'wine expert', I may have subconsciously rolled my eyes---wow, was I wrong. Olina has great knowledge and has worked for several years at Santorini vineyards! No one likes a wine tasting where the expert talks above your head! Here you are free to make your own judgments on smell/taste! Ideal for all who like to learn or simply drink wine! Most helpful is throughout the rest of our trip, we knew WHICH Greek ones to buy! Greek wines are very underrated! Thank again Olina!

Great experience! We really enjoyed tasting the different wines. Our guide was very knowledgeable and recommended different wineries for us to visit in Santorini.

This was a lovely experience and I would highly recommend it! Our host for the evening, Olina, was incredibly knowledgable and I learned a lot while still having fun and tasting some great Greek wine and cheese. It was also nice to chat with other attendees. I think this would appeal to those who don't know much about wine (like me) as well as those who maybe know a bit more about wine but perhaps not Greek wine.

My experience with the Wine Tasting Under the Acropolis was great. The wine selection provided a wide spectrum of whites and reds. One of the wines I really enjoyed was the Tear of the Pine Retsina from Kechris. It provided a distinctive taste of ginger. YUM. Overall, our instructor was phenomenal in explaining the different notes for each glass we tried. I felt as though I learned a lot about wine tasting from this experience. I can't wait to do this again next year.

This was such an interesting evening. Who knew that Greece had so many delicious wines and such a variety of ways in which grapes are grown. It was fascinating. The guy in the picture was actually our guide.

This was my first time doing a wine tasting. The instructor was well educated on the wines that are harvest in Greece. We sample 5 wine. 3 white 2 red. We paired each glass with cheese. The decor in the building was lovely. I would recommend this for anyone. I learn the 5 "S" when it comes to choosing a wine

This was a really informative and advanced wine tasting and I loved it. But I guess I didn't read carefully and thought that this would be outside with a view of the acropolis. It's a little misleading of a title because everything in downtown is "under" the acropolis, but if you are looking to learn about Greek wine absolutely take this class.
