Departure Time

11:35 AM
Make your own way to the Outback Pioneer Hotel in Yulara (Ayers Rock Resort) in time for noon departure. After meeting your guide and group settle into your seats aboard an air-conditioned coach and soak up the scenery as you journey into the UNESCO-listed Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.

Enjoy the scenery on the way, then jump out to enjoy the first walk of the day, affording spectacular views of Kata-Tjuta (the Olgas) and the Walpa Gorge. Continue to the Aboriginal Cultural Centre to learn more about the local Pitjantjatjara people and the region’s rich Aboriginal heritage.

Next, head to the base of Uluru (Ayers Rock), where you’ll enjoy two walks – the Mala Walk, which follow the north-west side of Uluru and passes some impressive Anangu rock art, and a guided hike to the ancient Mutitjulu Waterhole.

Finally, watch the sunset over the sacred peak of Uluru as you sip a glass of Champagne and feast on a traditional Aussie-style BBQ dinner.

Your tour ends around 7pm, back at the Ayers Rock Resort.

Taxing.Guides very good. Felt rushed as hadn't checked fuel and had to go back

The guides were great. Viator shocking. I would not book a tour through them again... and we have months to go. Don't ask for dietary requirements if they are not going to be considered

Great highlights tour and dinner.

Fantastic trip taking in the two must see destinations of Kata Tjuta and Uluru. Great to walk around the highlights with not too much walking. To make the experience even better, was the informative and friendly driver (Brit) and her ‘assistant’ Tony. They were excellent. And that was even before dinner! We had a great spot to sit down to Watch the rock change colors as the sun went down, while sipping sparkling, chatting with the other guests and eating the tasty salads, and barbecued meats cooked by ‘chef Tony’. The Experience was so great that we suggested the trip to my sister and her husband and they are on the trip right now! Thanks HEAPS!

Good but could be better

Views and walks were excellent. Disappointed with inclusions for this trip. They were not forth coming, no fruit and snacks provided at all during the day(despite an 11.30 pick up)No cold drinks available or offered. If your going to pick people up at this time you need to advice or suggest they bring their own food.

Had the best time exploring Kata Tjuta and Uluru. The walks were fun, snacks were great and the sunset dinner overlooking Uluru was spectacular. Learnt alot from Michael's commentary as well.

We really enjoyed this trip with Michael who was our driver & guide. We liked his professional & yet laid back approach...he was really cool, funny & made us feel chilled & relaxed. This tour is better than the Sounds of Silence dinner as you get to see Uluru & Kata Tjutu up close & the BBQ that Michael put on for us was really great! The steak was lovely & tender and cooked perfectly. The salads were all nice too. We thought Michael did a really great job all day & we'd like to thank him for delivering to our hotel some items left behind on the bus. He's an awesome guy! Thanks for a very enjoyable & memorable tour!
