Overview

Cruise the Bacalar Lagoon to the Black Cenote and Cenote Esmerelda on a half-day snorkeling tour of the spectacular ‘Lake of Seven Colors.’ You’ll pass through the Pirates' Channel, pause to make mud masks from sulfurous mud, and slip into the water to snorkel at both cenotes. Before returning to shore, navigate to the Island of Birds, a haven for some of the migratory birds that flock to the Bacalar Lagoon.

Maui and Kathy were amazing guides. Maui has so much knowledge of the area and Kathy made some amazing drinks! I went with my husband and 2 children age 12 and 13 and fun was had by all! If you are in the Bacalar area I strongly urge you to spend a few hours on this tour, we had a chance to swim in the beautiful clear waters in a couple of spots, what an incredible experience!

From the beginning our group was never short of drinks. Maui provided us with a lot of information about the environment and was together with his assistant (sorry missed the name) a great host. Both kept the group entertained. I Highly recommend this trip when in Bacalar.

This is a MUST TOUR to BOOK! no kidding! Amir and his sister did a fabulous job entertaining and teaching our group about their culture, the zenotes, etc! Their hospitality and humbleness were awesome! They kept it fun, exiting, and intriguing. Due to the storm that was approaching during our tour, Amir recreated The itinerary. It was worth the snacks, drinks, quick small meal that was beyond delicious! He cooked on the boat Some delicious raja Tacos. And the tequila drinks were delicious made by the bartender, his sister. They had so much activity to do on this tour it was worth every dollar! BOOK BOOK BOOK!! You will not regret it!!

Amir was the best! Very knowledgeable, kind, fun and was easily the highlight of our 2 Week Cancun trip. Worth every penny. Would most definitely come back and do another tour with him. He has everything you could ever ask for or want, hammocks on a boat we’re amazing, a variety of inflatable tubes, kayaks, SUP. The open bar included beer, tequila, the best mango I have ever tried, pineapple that gave Maui pineapple a run for its money, kiwi, bananas and banana chips were amazing. All in all his tours are the complete package. We saw many other tours that seemed extremely generic and borderline boring. Not Amir, he made sure that we had a great time, has Bluetooth speakers let’s you bump your own music and have a party. If I could give 10 stars I would. He is passionate in what he does and it shows, thanks Amir! 🤙🏽🤘🏽

We had a wonderful time on our 4 hour trip and really enjoyed the swimming. Phillipe and Amir were our guides and they were great and very attentive! We plan on returning to Bacalar and will definitely take another boat tour.
