Breathtaking view and great experience! Highly recommend for half a day out of Barcelona to get in touch with Spanish nature, history and culture. Also a very nice guidance and a comfortable bus ride.

Twist we had more time at this destination but the time we did have was wonderful. Marco was an excellent guide, answered all our questions and gave us a good tour.
Must see Montserrat

We loved this tour. Adrian was incredibly knowledgeable about the culture, religious, and scientific history of the mountain and helped us to feel as if we were on a Catalan pilgrimage. We were very lucky on the day we went to be able to visit the Madonna before taking the fernciular up then hiking down the mountain.y only regret is that we were not able to spend enough time purchasing the delicious foods from the street stalls. I think they shouldn’t give you at least 30 minutes to shop. Manuel was a very good driver and we felt safe with him on the windy roads.

Early Morning Monday Rush
, Feb 2020
The program was changed unilaterally from Hiking to visit to the farm with This is not a good practice. Further more the time given during the visit was a little insufficient. It would be better that more time is given to tourists rather than rush them trhough. We were back by 5 or 5.15 to the pick up point , what would have gone wrong if we landed half an hour late to the pick up point . Too much time was spent for lunch , we eat all through our lives and there i nothing specail about it . But the view . the time at Montserrat is probably once is a life time

Montserrat is a must
, Jan 2020
Montserrat is a definite must when visiting Barcelona -- it's really a very cool experience. That being said, the funicular was not running due to maintenance when we visited so the "soft hike" that was promised as part of this tour ended up being a straight uphill climb via stairs that was much more rigorous than expected and others on the tour had to sit out or turn around. Additionally, because we went on a Sunday, the boys choir was not there. Roger was an interesting guide who shared historical background about the monastery and mountains and we appreciated the free time to walk around and take photos and we liked that the group size was kept small.
Awesome tour

We had a fantastic trip to Montserrat with our guide, Oriol. He was very knowledgeable and patient with our questions. We were travelling with a 12yo and he made the trip engaging for all of us. It was a great experience. 5* all the way
