Private Barcelona Old Town and Gothic Quarter Walking Tour

That visit helped bring life to the numerous gothic and historic cathedral and buildings. Our guide was Donnatella replaced a sick guide at the last minute and was very knowledgeable. The private tour makes the visit very personal, allowing you to go at your own rhythm and ask all the questions you want. We strongly recomment this visit!

Olga was a good guide, but the Viator information provided was not. We were told to be at the meeting point by 9 AM for approximately a 3 hour tour. We were there just before 9AM. Olga came rushing up about 9:20 saying they always start at 9:30AM. Also, she said the tour would be 2.5 hours. That is NOT approximately 3 hours.

We had a great tour of the Old Town. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and patient. He did not hurry us. It was a long tour, however, so eat before you go!

Donatella was very knowledgeable, highly attuned to our interests and pace, she shared many interesting facts and trivia about the carious places we visited. I travelled with my husband and mother who uses a wheelchair. This is a wheelchair friendly tour. In fact the entire city is extremely wheelchair friendly. I regretted not seeing the Gotic quarter earlier in our trip. There were so many interesting shops, indoor and outdoor galleries, festivals, churches, and museums as we walked through. One trip back should be devoted to just visiting stores, another to see the amazing and extensive subterranean ruins in the Museum of the History of Barcelona, and another to go on a pintxos and sweets scavenger hunt, another to spend at the Picasso Museum. It was nevertheless delightful as we walked through the town and had the extra perk of coming across a soprano in the streets and a festival with gigantes

Very good tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable. She met us at our hotel on La Ramble and gave us an extensive tour. We were very happy and learned a lot about Barcelona. Highly recommended.

We had an awesome tour guide, Thanks Marcus!! This is a 2 1/2 hour walking tour starting at placa de catalunya. Marcus was on time and greeted us with a smile. After some questions about what we wanted to see we were on our way. This tour included history about Barcelona FC, Las Ramblas, Romans, Jews, Templar Knights, St. George, Churches, Martyrs, inquisition, Gothic vs. Catalunya architecture, Napoleon, Gaudi, Miro, Dali and much more. This is a very worthwhile tour. And to top it off Marcus recommended a fantastic restaurant for lunch Salamanca

Da wir trotz großzügiger Zeitplanung 20 Minuten zu spät zu unserer Führung kamen, war es ganz, ganz hervorragend, dass unsere Führerin auf uns gewartet hat. Unsere Gruppe bestand aus 4 Erwachsenen und 5 Teenagern, und es ist ihr sehr gut gelungen, die Führung so zu gestalten, dass alle auf ihre Kosten kamen. kleine Gruppengröße war TOP! sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis Ohne diese Führung hätten wir weit weniger von Barcelona kennengelernt!

Unser Führer war sehr Kompetent und hat sehr viel uns Erzählen können. Es war absolut Lonenswert und gerne wieder mal. Wir haben viel neues Kulturelles über Barcelona gelernt. Vielen Dank an Mathias nochmals
