Fantastic Tour

This Normandy Tour was wonderful! Our guide, Adrian, was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and engaging. We took the time to explain everything and held the attention of our 8 and 9 yr old kids throughout the entire day. Super easy pick up and drop off at the Bayeux train station too.

Matt was a wonderful guide who was friendly and very knowledgeable about D-day. It was a little somber thinking about all the men lost on that day, but Matt was great sharing stories and humor.

Highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, engaging and pleasant. It’s an area with so much history and we walked away in awe of all that was sacrificed for our freedom. Go, you will not be disappointed!

Highly recommend this tour. From the German Cemetery to the towns to the Beaches and finishing up with Taps at the American Cemetery. And our guide was great!

Very impactful! Our full-day tour provided a chance to see a lot and our guide was extremely insightful. I could not imagine trying to visit without a guide. We learned a lot. There is much more to the sites than meets the eye.
Great Experience!

The tour was really great and the guide was extremely informative about all the sights we saw. He was prompt in picking us up and was so knowledgeable not only about all the sights, but also about the history of the war as a whole. The binder full of pictures also helped us get a sense of what happened on D-Day. Overall, we really enjoyed our tour and highly recommend the tour to anyone who is interested in D-Day and learning more about the history of Normandy.
Amazing Experience - Wasn’t on my Bucket List but Would be now!

I did the 1-day American tour and could not have been more pleased with the experience. I went in January 2020 when I was spending the weekend in France for a business trip. It was off peak and there were only 4 others on the trip. Our guide picked us up at 8:30am from the Bayeux train station and dropped us back off at 6:00pm. In between we started at St. Mere Eglise, followed by Utah beach, German Cemetery, Point Du Hoc, American Cemetery, and finally Omaha Beach. The weather was unexpectedly warm and sunny and our guide was extremely knowledgeable. On the way to St. Mere Eglise (about 45 minutes) he spoke about how the war had started, timelines and reasons why all the different countries entered the war. Upon arrival at each site he would spend 15-20 minutes explaining the significant events, people, strategies, outcomes etc. at each location then allowed us 15-30 minutes (which was more than enough time) to wonder around, take pictures etc. This trip was not on my bucket list before I scheduled it but had I known before what I learned from this experience it would definitely have been! I highly recommend this for anyone with even the slightest interest in the history of WWII and significance of these hallowed grounds. I would not recommend driving and experiencing these sites without a guide as 99% of the experience would be lost. I typically use Viator for my guided tours when traveling and this was by far their best I’ve been part of.
