The tour ends near the intersection of Andingmen Nei Dajie and Gulou Dong Dajie, about a 15-minute walk from either the start point, Beixinqiao Metro (line 5) or Andingmen Metro (line 2).

Meet your guide and small group of up to eight people in central Beijing for a morning departure. Enjoy an authentic introduction to Chinese cuisine as you sample a huge variety of foods, starting with delicious silken tofu, topped with savory toppings such as chive flowers. Next, tuck into brown sugar donuts from a halal stall, then taste breakfast specialties such as "baozi"(steamed buns), deep-fried crullers, and sweet soymilk at another popular street food stall. Before you move on, try a glass of fermented mung bean milk, a Beijing elixir that elderly locals swear by, and some jarred Beijing yogurt that can only be found in the capital.

Sip a cup of coffee as you watch your "jianbing" (Chinese crepes) being made. Finish your breakfast banquet with a bowl of sweet almond pudding.

At the end of your tour, your guide can help you find your way back to your hotel.

Temple of Confucius and Guozijian Museum
After we cross from Lama Temple, we'll see large Chinese gate not unlike those you find in Chinatowns around the world. We will follow the leafy hutong and pass both the Temple of Confucius and the Imperial Academy. This street was particularly important in China’s history not only because it was one of the main centers of Confucian thought (at a time when Confucian philosophy was China’s dominant ideology), but also because of the Imperial Academy next door. Any person who aspired to attain a government position anywhere in China was required to pass the Imperial Examination, which was held in the Imperial Academy.

Had an amazing time and experience. I was fortunate as it was just me and the guide. We made so many stops and I had to really pace myself with the amount of food. So so delicious. Highly recommend this tour.
