Correct, butterflies are solar insects! They thrive when the sun is out, as in fly around in the air. We find many customers still enjoy them on rainy days as you can still see them perched on plants and flowers. This is one reason we offer the 3 day wristband also, so you can come back on a more active day if you choose. Thank you for visiting!

I have been to a number of butterfly enclosures, but this is one of the best I’ve seen. Lots of butterflies and many different varieties. Loved the Blue Morpho, even though it is very difficult to photograph with its wings open.

The butterflies are beautiful. It was really nice to be that close to so many of them. We enjoyed the short films also, especially the one about the Monarch Butterflies. This is a great place for children. The reptiles and fish were a creative addition to the Butterfly Palace.

How beautiful the butterflies were. There were so many. It was not crowded so you could walk around to look at the butterflies. The butterflies would land on your feeding stick 1,2, 4 has many has 6 or more at a time. It would be different types.

We've been before but getting to hold nectar flowers was new. Getting to have butterflies land in my hand and on me was very surreal. Live music was tranquil. This experience was a perfect way to wind down from an exciting trip to Branson.
