Night at the Pyramids of Giza
Eini_D
, Sep 2021
our guide Omer Mataro was very good and so was the driver managing the traffic. The show was ok. The change the primary sound to accomodate majority of language in attendance and the rest of the people got headsets with their language....only issue was primary sound was very loud and slightly out of sync with headsets (2-4 seconds), which was distracting. Had different expectations of lights and music, rather than narration, but that was ok.

Hazem as tour guide!

Our tour guide, Hazem, was the nicest ever! I didn’t bring a jacket so he took me to multiple shops until I found one that was comfortable and warm. On top of that he was super polite and helped us buy a blanket at the light show. He was the best ever! 10/10 recommend emo tours.

Awful - I wouldn't recommend it to someone I didn't like.

I could only recommend this to someone I didn't like as a really cruel joke. We asked an Egyptian friend who we met whilst on our trip to come with us and we were thoroughly embarrassed of how low budget and retro this was. In the 1970s, I'm sure this would've been cutting edge. It's just a shame that for some reason, someone completely missed the concept of keeping up with the times and brazenly charged people for something which was so shocking that I couldn't think of anything good to say about it at all. For people first arriving in Egypt, this might be slightly better, but after spending five days with private Egyptologist tour guides seeing the best of what Egypt had to offer, the sound and light show was literally only a slight step up from a finger puppet show in front of a cheap Halfords torch. Utter pants.

This show was magnificent, Esraa was a great tour guide she’s very pleasant and Informative, and the driver Ibrahim was very professional and very careful in this challenging traffic that surrounds the city of Cairo , I enjoyed every single moment of the presentation. I can’t wait to come back

Good intro to Giza

, Dec 2019
We arrived in Cairo and a few hours later went to sound and light show. It was a great introduction for our Giza tour the next day. The sound system was great but I will agree that the technology could be updated. All our tours in Egypt were with Emo. We were always picked up on time and had very good guides.

You don’t need a tour guide!
Prosperity G
, Nov 2019
The light show itself was very interesting but you definitely don’t need to pay extra for a tour guide. It’s useless. He stayed in the car while we were watching the show. You can simply uber to the show and buy your ticket for 300 LE. The guide didn’t give us any additional information or nothing.

Really it is boring, I left after 15 minutes of show. Really it is a projection of images with a boring host.

This was a nice tour to see. Our guides picked us up from our hotel promptly, and made sure we had everything we needed once we arrived. Very professional.
