Board the air-conditioned coach en route to the former port city, the only archaeological site on the coast of Quintana Roo. Then follow on foot while your guide points out significant structures.

See El Castillo (The Castle), an impressive building overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Stroll past the Temple of Frescoes and the Palace, and learn about the ancient Maya who built the city during different periods.

After your tour, enjoy free time to look around on your own or head to the small beach below before re-boarding the coach for return transport to your hotel in Cancun or the Maya Riviera in the afternoon.

Tulum Archaeological Site
Your guide will pick you up from your Cancun or Riviera Maya hotel between 7am and 9am, depending on your location. Board your air-conditioned coach and head to Tulum, the ancient Mayan city situated atop a cliff overlooking the Caribbean. For two hours, a guide walks you through tour of the "Walled City" that played such a significant role in Mayan culture and commerce. See El Castillo (The Castle), stroll past the Temple of Frescoes and the Palace, and learn about the Maya who built the city during different periods. After your tour concludes, wander on your own for an hour, taking photos, enjoying the beach, or even taking a dip in the sea before boarding your coach for the return trip. You'll be back at your hotel at around 2:45pm. Round-trip transport by air-conditioned coach is included from Cancun and the Riviera Maya, as are entrance fees, bottled water, and professional guides.

Talum was amazing, the ride to get there...not so much. It took an hour and a half after we were picked up to actually start the journey to Talum. They kept filling up the van and then offloading passengers to other vehicles. Total time to Talum was close to 3 hours from hotel zone. This is unacceptable. Coupled with no water or rest stops along the way made for a miserable time.

Our excursion to Tulum on October 6, 2020 was fantastic. Ariel was our tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave great information on both the trip to Tulum and at the site. We were well prepared for the actual experience. His knowledge and explanations were great. He was very thoughtful and made sure any questions were answered. He was very pleasant to associate with and made you feel like one of the family. He allowed for plenty of time to explore on our own and shop. Even though a Cat 4 hurricane was bearing down later that evening, we were not rushed or panicked. Both Ariel and our Driver Carlos were fantastic! I would suggest Cancun Passion Tour Company to anyone. Their rates and service were fantastic!

Our guide messaged us to meet at “Hotel Ambiance Suites.” When our driver pulled it up on his phone, “Hotel Ambiance Suites” and “Ambiance Suites” came up. The first looked most similar to where our guide told us to meet. It was the wrong location and we missed the pick up time. We couldn’t reschedule because we left Cancun the next day. We haven’t heard back about a refund.

let me just start off by saying that the tour guides Greg, pepe and raoul are lovely. absolute salt of the earth kind of people. I didnt have any cash so was not able to tip so I'm sorry for that. Now for my review, pick up was at 7a, I was the first, we drove around for 90mins picking up other people and pair that with the traffic, my first 3 hours were spent on the bus so I did not care for that. We had about 2 hours at the ruins. Greg gave us a wealth of info in about 20 min and then we were on our own. I would have much preferred a guided tour headset as it would have been more thorough and in depth. I alked around the place by myself but wasnt even sure what I was looking at. i dont feel there is much I could tell you about the Mayan people. The trip back was also over 2 hours. So an 8 hour day with no food or snacks provided. I give this trip a meh.

We really liked this tour. Pepe (our guide) was very knowledgeable. Pickup times were efficient and on time. Also, we had been touring all week and were kind of tired (!), so this half-day tour was just the right amount. There is an hour and 15 minutes with Pepe (guided tour with lots of info), then an extra 2 hours of free time (plenty), time for lunch and shopping for local crafts, etc. We were picked up at 7:40 in Playa del Carmen and were back to our hotel by 2:00 pm! Tulum is absolutely gorgeous and is a "must see" for anyone in the area.!

Van was on time. Driver and guide were nice and provided a safe quick trip and tour of Tulum. I highly recommend this company , we used for airport transportation as well. The express tour leave plenty of time to explore and enjoy the beach.
