Nice trip
Bernie_W
, May 2022
Nice trip but note that "motorized catamaran" is not a sailboat. Crew was very helpful, especially when we struggled with a strong current at one location. Also, captain was nice enough to drop us off at our hotel.

Boat waited for us.

We were running late. There had been traffic through the ferry port. We called the number on our reservation David answered he was directly at the boat and not only held the boat but was waiting to meet us in the parking lot to assure us they weren’t leaving without us. Greatfully thankful!!!

This excursion was very very fun. The guides were very entertaining and accommodating in terms of safety and hospitality. The did tour did seem slightly rushed and was not a full four hours as stated. The snacks were great as were the drinks. Overall I do believe it is worth the money.

Fun times, worth it!

Friendly staff, nice food, beautiful sealife, good times. Only warning is the beach/restaurant they drop you off at, at the end is too expensive. Two 3-taco plates and a drink cost $65 USD! The food was above average. You are not required to buy food to use their beach, I recommend you don't!

Not as advertised
Josh_W
, Mar 2022
Lady called the day before our trip to say the catamaran wasn't available due to govt restrictions pin number of guests, so they offered us a boat instead. Definitely not what we were expecting. The snorkeling was nice, but the "beach club" was actually a vacant lot that looked like a hurricane had torn down the building that used to be there. We were given some chips and cheviche, but only after watching the crew eat their lunch. Would definitely not recommend booking an excursion through this company.

Bait and Switch

The advertised catamaran was unavailable (do they even own one?) and the substituted boat was a beat up dingy. The advertised photos show "Zeus" catamaran, but on arrival all boats were operated by "May-Be Tours" as shown in our pictures. The "beach club" was a vacant lot with a dilapidated sea wall where they served ceviche, chips, 6 canned beers, and a few juice bottles for our hungry group of 12. The crew actually ate a meal on the boat before serving guests anything while we baked on the small, rocky shore. There was no shade available past a few palm trees. Although we prepared ahead by purchasing reef-safe sunblock, the boat crew told us we were not allowed to apply sunblock at all. We were all severely burned as a result. We confirmed with other customers that the same events occurred... catamaran not available, switched to small boats, and not taken to a beach club but rather just a random shore line. Overall, an abysmal and literally painful experience that we cannot recommend against strongly enough.

Great tour

Super friendly staff. Very helpful. Tour was excellent. We snorkeled over 2 different reefs on the first stop. First stop the reefs are the furthest down and we saw lobsters, turtles, lots of different fish. Then a second stop in shallow water to look at starfish and the third stop was for sting rays and relaxing in shoppers water. Great tour

We got to go snorkelling on the reef, saw starfish and enoyed some guacamole and beer in clear beautiful water. The crew was the best. They were very good explaining safety and watching over us while snorkelling. They made the guac and we rocked out to tunes while riding the catamaran

Amazing snorkeling & great tour guide!
Deborah_R
, Feb 2022
Tour guide Dave was welcoming and fabulous! Very attentive to snorkeling safety and making sure we were having a great time as well with plenty of tequila, cerveza, & non-alcoholic drinks. Tour stopped at three places from deep to shallow waters so you could see different marine life. Colorful fish, lots of stingrays & starfish etc...Amazing fun experience &adventure that I would highly recommend when you visit Cozumel Island.

The most memorable part was the wonderful fun loving attitude of the crew on the trip back! Everyone (not the driver!) got up and danced and had fun!

Not worth it
Sharon_K
, Feb 2022
This tour isn’t worth the money. It seemed very rushed, not enjoyable and not 1 life jacket worked. The life jackets are like the ones you get on an airplane that you need to blow into to blow it up but they all had holes in them. So if you aren’t a comfortable or strong swimmer in the sea beware. They did bring out the life guard rings that people could hold onto but they only had 2 of those between 6 people that were using them. You do see 3 reefs but basically you stop at one place and they rush you to jump in the water. You swim around for a bit and see some nice fish but it’s a bit hard because the waves don’t let you be so “calm” in the water (yes it was a nice sunny day out with good weather) and then you swim 2 minutes in another direction and you’re at the second reef which basically is the exact same as the first. Then you get back on the boat, drive 5 minutes and you’re at the last reef where we saw some nice star fish but we were only there for 15 minutes and had to get back on the boat. The only good thing is the last part where you stop at a sand bar and drink beer and the chef on the boat gives you nachos with guacamole and ceviche. Also it’s not clear that the beach club is optional. 6 of us got off the boat like they said and we turned around only to see the rest of the group sailing off. Also be aware that if you do go to the beach club you need to find your own transportation back. We ended up snorkeling at the beach club off the shore and it was so much better than the tour.

Think Again
Sarah_B

I don't know where to start. The locals should have seen the weather rolling in and canceled the trip. About 5 min in, the sun disappeared and the heavens poured! Tragedy was watching the strip of sunshine another 1/2 mile off the coastline. Still, the captain stayed in the rain and never reduced his speed! It was horrible. We actually had to put on our snorkeling masks to even see. We were freezing cold and not a dry place on the boat. I would have been warmer if we swam to our destination. I'm never again pre-booking a trip in Mexico. There are plenty vendor tiendas at the cruise dock and you can schedule same-day plans based on current weather.

Dear Customer, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your experience. In regards to your comment, we can't really have control over weather conditions as mother nature is so unpredictable and even though this is something out of our hands We apologize if the sun disappeared and rained that day during your tour. We are ruled by ocean conditions and as long as Port is open and ocean conditions are suitable we operate our tours in a regular way. We are used to this type of weather as we are in the caribbean but once again our apologies if weather changed suddenly. Our tour guides and team are always making their best to have everyone happy in our tours as we are one of the top Companies in snorkeling experiences. We wish we had control over weather but unfortunately we dont, hopefully one day we will have a forecast system that will be more accurate. We appreciate your feedback and the time you took to share it with everyone. Thank you.

Wonderful tour from start to finish: professional crew, great snacks, great equipment and amazing snorkling in crystal clear waters. We were dropped off at the beach club at the end of the tour (included in tour package). A lady at the the beach club told us there was a minimum spend on food, or pay a fee to stay. I texted our tour guide and got a response right away. Our guide even called the beach club to clear the issue. Amazing service and can't recommend this tour enough.
