Omar was a fantastic tour guide. Had tea multiple times, once on the drive to the dunes and once after riding the camels. For expectations for others, the camel ride is roughly 10 minutes. You take a couple pictures in the pen, walk over to a nearby dune, take more pictures, and then come back. We then had the opportunity to hold a falcon and get some pictures for 15 QAR per person. After that we sat in the tent area for a while with our tea before heading to the dunes. The dune bashing was probably the best part. He drifted sideways down some of them. We hit 80kph on the dunes and 110kph on the salt flats. We stopped at the inland sea where you can see Saudi Arabia on the other side for about 5 minutes before heading back through the dunes and to our hotel. We were never even given the opportunity to sand board. Forgot about it being part of the tour until I came to write this review. Because of that I can’t give 5 stars. I’d definitely suggest it to someone as the tour was great but it’s hard for me to say it’s worth the money….especially if you don’t get to do everything you purchased to do.

Don’t go if you want to ride camels

We had about 5 minutes total on the camels, it was really just a cash grab with that one. Otherwise, the dune bashing was fun, and it was good for photo ops. The inland sea visit was very short as well, and I went down the dune in the snowboard twice before we left. I’d say it was worth the money in a group due to driving the cost per person down, but the majority of the time was spent on driving to the location (about an hour one way) and around the dunes

This was such a great experience! Our driver Abdullah Latif picked us up in Doha city right on time and gave us a thrilling ride through the desert in his beautiful Land Cruiser. The desert is such a wide open place! Mr. Latif took us up across one dune after the next and expertly drifted us down the steep side of each one, which was amazing to behold. The stop at the inland sea where you see Saudi Arabia was spectacular! I've never seen ocean shore so calm and perfectly clear. The camel rides and delicious milk tea were very warm touches too. If you are considering a short visit or layover in Qatar do not miss this tour!
