Departure Time

9:00 AM
Begin your 8-hour tour with a pickup from your Dubai hotel. Hop inside your air-conditioned minivan and set off to explore the city’s must-see landmarks.

As you travel, hear from your guide how Dubai began life as a humble fishing village before a 20th-century oil boom saw it grow into one of the world’s most dynamic cities.

Explore its roots with a visit to Al Bastakiya, the city’s oldest quarter. See the mud-built wind towers along the narrow lanes, and then chart more of Dubai’s history at the Dubai Museum, housed inside the 18th-century Al Fahidi fort. Stroll around the historical artifacts and trace the city’s lightning-speed development through the interesting scale models, photos and multimedia displays.

Having explored here, take a scenic abra ride across Dubai Creek to Deira’s souks. Absorb the exotic aromas and colors of the Spice Souk and then dive into the Gold Souk, a maze of glittering gold, silver and jewelry outlets.

If you wish, buy a souvenir from the souk (own expense), and then continue to Jumeirah Mosque, one of Dubai’s must-sees. Admire the gleaming domes and minarets of this magnificent modern mosque, and learn how its design echoes the medieval Fatimid style.

Stop for photos of the sail-shaped Burj Al-Arab hotel, and make your way into Dubai Mall to head up the Burj Khalifa, the world’s highest tower.

Ride a high-speed elevator to the ‘At the Top’ observatory on the 124th floor, and marvel at the incredible, bird’s-eye views. Walk around the full-height glass walls to fully appreciate the panoramas before descending back to ground level.

Your tour then concludes with a drop off in Emirates Mall.

VERY Disappointing
Suzan_B
, Jan 2022
This is by far one of the worst tours I have been on. I strongly recommend against this tour. The tour included stops that were not properly called out. One at a carpet factory which I felt a bit like we were being held hostage. It wasn't necessary to spend over half an hour in a presentation and forced sell pitch especially given how rushed the rest of the day was. Although we enjoyed the the trip the spice market, it was rushed and were not given enough to buy from vendors of our choosing. The tour was an entire day, there were no stops for bathrooms or lunch. This was very concerning as we had several older people on the tour and if someone had any medical issues i.e Diabetes this could have ended terribly. The Tour guide also didn't take into account several suggestions to stop for food or for the bathroom. The stop at the Burj, also rushed, and spend over 1.5 hours waiting when we could have paid the premium to skip the line. By the time we got up to the top we were only able to spend a whopping 8 minutes before we needed to find our way back to the tour bus - which left us and 3 other couples I might add after we were only 6 minutes late in returning. I should add that we were not provided with a map of the mall and had to navigate or own way out. If you have not been to the Dubai mall it is gigantic in size and you can easily get lost. We did contact the guide after they left us, as we were terribly upset and they arrange for someone to pick us up and drop us off to rejoin the group as they were arriving at the next stop. The tour went over time, at this point everyone had missed lunch and dinner, several people had headaches and were were exhausted. We had no choice but to end our trip and charter a taxi back. DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR. YOU WILL BE SORRY.

Best Way to See Dubai
Derrick_M
, Jan 2022
This was my first trip to Dubai and taking this tour made it the best trip EVER! Our tour guide was Naveen and our driver was Jakir, and they were great together. I always felt safe on the bus and Naveen was amazing with information in between the auto-stories that were plugged into on the bus. I thought the excursions were very well planned out. It was a long day but a great one. I was able to buy some great pieces to take home to remind me of this great trip. I couldn’t have seen as much at such a great price if I was doing it on my own, so I’m grateful for this tour group.

It is a good tour for starter to see quick overall. Great for shopping purpose travellers. Need to depend on travellers time management otherwise end up waiting for the rest of travellers.

Very Nice Dubai Tour- Burj beware
Cody_R
, Jan 2022
The tour and the tour company are great. We had a wonderful time with the group and seeing the sites, but be aware that the Burj is a process (or at least it was for us). There is a standard ticket (part of this package) and a $125 VIP pass. The difference is that it took us over 1 hour in line to leave by their elevator. The VIP took minutes. If seeing a view from a tall building is your thing, consider the difference.

Probably the worst tour I have ever been on and I have been to many tours. Extremely disappointing and very unorganised and crammed in we didn’t stop to eat anything for eight hours and ended up almost fainting at the Burj Khalifa we could only stay in for no more than 10 minutes after waiting in line for a lengthy time everything was rush rush and would never recommend this tour to anyone no Wi-Fi on bus no welcome pack received even water you had to pay for! very bad operator

Disappointing guide, and misleading advertised itinerary.
DaisyK_T
, Jan 2022
The guide's instruction and comments in sub-standard English were difficult to follow. And with no banner or sign in hand, he was physically difficult to follow too. The mono rail activity in Palm Jumeirah was much shorter than the advertised 1 hour 15 minutes duration. Our visit was on Friday, when Jumairah Mosque and National Museum of Dubai were closed, I do not blame Viator for the non-visit of said mosque and museum. But with the time saved from those non-visits, Viator and its guide should allow us (the clients) at least the advertised 1 hour 15 minutes time in Palm Jumeirah, not immediately bused away at the end of of the Monorail ride.

Dubai tour

This was a fun experience, but we didn't have enough time anywhere. We had to go up to burj Khalifa and have lunch in 1.5 h that's not possible, the line was like 2 h to the tower... also the guide was very nice but sometimes he was going to fast.

Overall a good tour.

My wife and I were very happy with the guide and service. Burj Khalifa was not what we expected. Too long lines and not worth a 10-15 minute experience at the top.

Tour started off with being picked up late. First stop at beach was 15 minutes followed by 30 minutes at "Islamic Art Gallery" which consited of a salesman trying to peddle rugs. We were not allowed to take pictures, so it was clear what the intent of the stop was. The trip on the water taxi and souk was great! Our guide was diligent in giving us lots of facts and meeting places, etc. The trip to Dubai Mall and Buj Khalifa was an utter disaster. We were late to our assigned time and there was a huge confusion with tickets. It took ONE AND AND HALF HOURS just to get to the elevators. By the time we got to the 124th floor, we had to quickly snap some pictures and somehow get lunch to eat on the bus after waiting another 20 minutes to come down. All in all, the tour is not worth it. You would be better off taking a taxi or the Dubai metro to the Burj and see it at a leisurely pace. The bus was gross, see picture. Also included is a picture of the ticket disaster. Having flown halfway across the world to see and experience the Burj Khalifa, I did not continue with the tour because I wanted to spend more than 5 minutes taking pictures. Strongly consider any other option, as this trip was not up to any respectable standard.
