Hot Air Balloon Ride, Breakfast & Wildlife Drive in a 1950s Land Rover

Amazing experience , I travel all the way from New York to experience a sunrise at the desert , it was impressive , the lunch and the drive through the safari something I will not forget , feeling the sand , watching the sand and animals , what a great experience ; totally worth it .

This was a very well organized, fun and informative tour. From beginning to end the entire crew had the safety and comfort of everyone as a top priority. Balloon ride with about 18 to 20 people in the basket was piloted very skillfully by Peter who was good at pointing out sights on the ground. A delicious breakfast was served at a unique site in the desert with the option to ride a camel after. Then a 45 minute ride thru the desert in vintage Hummers with a chance to see wildlife and conservation efforts. One of the best tours I’ve been. Thanks! .

A lovely sunrise balloon flight with in-balloon falcon display followed by a tasty gourmet breakfast and a wildlife viewing experience in vintage Land Rovers. A great day all round.

We booked a hot air balloon ride for our honeymoon in Dubai. It was so incredible. Not only did we get to have a beautiful sunrise ride in the balloon, but we also had the pleasure of an in flight falconry demonstration. All of which were recorded on a video that we were able to purchase after the flight. Once we landed we were allowed to hold the falcon and take pictures with him. Then we drove to a Bedouin camp where we were served an amazing buffet style breakfast and enjoyed camel rides. This was followed by a safari through the wildlife refuge in vintage Land Rovers. We saw Oryx and Gazelle on our drive. We were also given head scarves to protect us from the sun (which we got to keep) and a very nice reusable canteen bottle for water. The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent overall. Great crew and very professional. I would recommend this to everybody. The only problem we’re the Chinese who could stay quiet while my video was on.

I took the balloon plus falcon plus wildlife safari. It was great. Really a highlight. The falconer was Esmerie who is very knowledgeable and generous with taking pictures and explaining things. The pilot was Sanjay who is VERY experienced and really good about making sure everyone is taken care of. He also saw lots of wildlife from the balloon and pointed out the Oryx and the gazelles. Goats too! The wildlife safari part was the weakest part of the tour. You drive for perhaps 15-20 minutes into the desert. If this will be your only chance to go into the desert, then it's probably worth it. If you plan on going dune bashing or go at some other time into the desert- then this part could be removed from your tour. The only animals we saw were at a feeding station. The falcon flies for just a couple of minutes but it is really special to be at eye level with a falcon. I fussed around with my camera and I wish I had just paid attention to the falcon and soaked it all in. As I said- this tour was a definite highlight of my time in Dubai.

the balloon ride was really good. the pilot and the crew were very friendly and professional. the Falcon trainer was very nice and professional as well. as I did other balloon rides in other locations like in China and Brazil, I would suggest to let people to take some pictures from the balloon preparation. the breathing is giving while the crew is preparing the balloons so there were no time to take photos from the balloon being inflated. but this is just my recommendation. the breakfast was very good! we loved the food and the atmosphere. the wildlife safari was just ok, we were expecting it to be better. There were very few animals to be seen. the only think I did not liked was the car used to pickup/drop us from/to our hotel. it was too bumpy for this kind of tour for my point of view. as well as they pickup a lot of guests in the same car, we took a long long time going to other hotels until we finally got back to ours.

This was a once in a lifetime experience. Perfect, perfect, perfect! We even had 2 falcons on board. We flew for a long time. We were able to spot animals in the dessert, I loved the landing and laughed as we were climbing out of the basket. Very well done!

The early pickup in the early morning prompted for a magnificent view of the sunrise from the desert, as the balloon was taken off. During the ride the professional falconer introduced us to the art of falconry and we watched the bird flying around the gondola. We also enjoyed watching a companion balloon take off and follow us. The landing was an adventure in itself be ready to get some dust in your cloths, followed by a quick ride for a desert retreat for some breakfast. The latter part of the trip was the safari, and we enjoyed views of the beautify oryx and dear, along with some desert greenery. During the trip the guides and drivers were coureous and expressed a great deal of knowledge into their respective topics. Highly recommended!

It was a once in a life time experience. Our tour is divided into two parts: Balloon Ride: We were picked up from the Hotel early in the morning and taken to the desert where the balloons were present. The Pilot Mike was experienced, had a good knowledge of the terrain and a good sense of humor. The balloon was flown on different heights at different times for optimum experience. We also had an opportunity to see falcon flying while in the balloon up top. After, approx 1 hour, we landed and were taken for a gourmet breakfast in a traditional Bedouin camp which is a experience in itself. We were taken to the camp in 1950's or 1960's land cruisers. it was fun. Desert Safari: After the breakfast, we had a desert safari planned. Again, we got into the land cruisers and went into the desert. The Driver, FAHAD, was highly experienced, had a good knowledge of the terrain, animal and plant species. It was another amazing experience in itself. We were given ample time for photographs and enjoy the terrain. Make sure you ask for Fahad if you book this combo tour.
