Your Celtic adventure begins bright and early the Molly Malone Statue in Dublin, where you will meet your coach for the full-day tour to Boyne Valley. Be sure to grab your own breakfast for the ride north to your first destination, the Hill of Tara. Your guide tells you about the importance of this site before you move on to Trim.

Head to the ancient town of Trim, just a short ride through Ireland’s picturesque countryside. See the famous Trim Castle set along the River Boyne. Constructed in the 1170s, this monument remains the largest Anglo-Norman castle in Ireland.

Then, at the Loughcrew Cairns passage tombs, walk through the winding stone passageways with your knowledgeable guide and ponder the 6,000-year-old petroglyphs that adorn the walls.

Continue to the Fore Abbey, a 7th-century Christian monastery, and the Hill of Uisneach, arguably one of the most important ancient site in Ireland today.

Next, board the bus back to Dublin. Your tour returns to the starting point in the evening.

What a great trip!! Our guide is outstanding!! So very knowledgeable. I would suggest you be able to climb steep hills, because this is a very physically challenging trip if you are out of shape or have knee/hip issues

Okay tour with friendly guide. A bit disappointed as it is overpriced and the commentary is underwhelming. Would recommend to bring your own lunch and be ready for some steep hill walking.

5000 years of Ireland covered in one day in a manner most entertaining.

OH MY, what a delightful tour. Our tour guide hit all the spots promised, and more. Due to traffic, he took us to a couple of other places that were not on the original itinerary, and they were really cool. His narrative covered the places we were going to visit, but he also included a comprehensive yet understandable history of Ireland, from the neolithic age to the present. A someone who is not that familiar with Irish history, this was incredibly beneficial, and put things into perspective. He was also fluent in current events, from Bono to Peter O'Toole, which made his pitch all the more engaging. The pace was not too fast, but fast enough that we got through all that was promised and more.

This is my second time Visiting the Celtic Boyne Valley was beautiful. We walked/hiked (may be a bit difficult for some, recommend to take it slow) and it was so worth it, the view is spectacular. Barry was our tour guide and he was great in explaining. He was very attentive to provide the history and information to everyone as we all reached the high point at various times. Wear hiking boots/shoes as if the day is wet, you will get wet.

Great experience that felt both inspiring and at the same time not enough.

Maybe it's because of Covid or maybe people just are in the wrong by overlooking this experience but the Boyne valley has a bunch of amazing things to see, from the historic old constructions to the fantastic views from up in the hills and although it can leave you a bit tired and wanting for a cold drink by the shade, it also makes you want to keep going and see what else is there to be found. The guide/driver Conor clearly showed a love for the entire area which by itself is even more contagious than covid itself, although this is an affliction you will enjoy having. An experience to be repeated.
