Get picked up at your hotel in Dubrovnik and then hop inside the air-conditioned vehicle to make the drive south to Montenegro. Drink in the views of the Adriatic Sea and the Dubrovnik Riviera and learn about the history and culture of the area from your local guide.

After crossing the border to Montenegro, twist and turn with the road, going around the large Bay of Kotor, and passing through charming villages along the way. Then stop in Perast, a lovely town at the base of St Elijah Hill. Consider taking the optional boat ride to Our Lady of the Rocks island to check out the baroque-era church (at own expense).

The next stop is Kotor, situated in a fjord and one of the most eye-pleasing Montenegrin towns. Once there, begin a walking tour that goes throughout the squares and narrow cobbled streets, taking you to historic churches such as the Cathedral of St Tryphon. Then take some free time to do some wandering—consider marching up the 1,350 steep steps to the San Giovanni Castle for an incredible view and photo opportunity—or sit down for a drink or a snack (at own expense).

After Kotor, head to Budva, a gorgeous walled city on the sea boasts attractive beaches and narrow cobbled streets. Take some free time to explore or sit down for a meal (at own expense).

Take a ferry ride across the Bay of Kotor and then enjoy a final scenic drive along the coastal roads of Montenegro to end your day. You are returned to your Dubrovnik hotel.

Montenegro is amazing and the trip was exemplary. The days events were so good. The bus was comfortable and the driver was very safe.
Tanya's Montenegro trip 10/10
, May 2022
We were picked up from outside hotel, Tanya's Montenegro full day tour, it was very informative and interesting historical information about every stop. She was attentive to guests 10/10. Stopped at peralst, took ferry to lady of the rocks, very picturesque. Then onto Kotor town for few hours, followed by stop on Budva, we actually met the driver and Tanya in the restaurant table next to us, local goulash was sooo delicious and also very reasonably priced. Drive back to Dubrovnik in evening, driver stopped at bus station for us to depart to catch out bus to split. :)
Introduction to Montenegro
, May 2022
I great way to get an introduction into Montenegro for anyone who knows little about the country. A very pleasant experience.
Don't miss old town Kotor
, May 2022
Montenegro, and specifically the old town, was incredibly beautiful. I wish there had been more than 2 hours to explore and investigate Kotor. The church in the bay was beautiful, and I'm glad to have visited it. I think Budva was an unnecessary side trip that just took time away from the rest, despite being very beautiful by the water.
Not a bus but a van trip
, May 2022
We were cramped up in an unsuitable minibus. The skylight in the minibus had cardboard taped over it, no opening windows and the air conditioning unit had been removed from 3 outlets( 1 of them ours). I have photos but cant post at the moment. It was a very uncomfortable 12 hour trip🙈🙈. The guide did her best in difficult circumstances. Do not do this trip in an unsuitable vehicle. I will be requesting a refund

Thank you for your review Margaret. The minibus in question was sent out due to an administrative error. This is far below our usual standards and we will make sure a mistake like this does not happen again.
Beautiful day
, May 2022

Overall great trip....
, May 2022
Overall great trip. Driver and guide were very nice and helpful. City guide in Mostar was also wonderful. Would highly recommend this trip.
Good but long day
, May 2022
Very long day and what made it worse is that we spent an hour and a half touring Dubrovnik to pick everyone in the morning. Would have been better to give all participants one address as a meeting point as some other tour operators do.
Could be a lot better.

This trip has the potential to be great however the cities we visited were pointless. Unfortunately, Montenegro was hit badly by the pandemic so as expected some things were closed. However, the issue we had is that it would have been better if we had been taken to the capital where more things are likely to be open than to waste time in two cities which were in effect under construction.
