Get comfortable inside your top of the range, 16-seat Mercedes mini-coach and depart central Edinburgh to Loch Ness and the Scottish Highlands, stopping along the way to hear insightful commentary from your guide.

Pass by Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument, and Linlithgow Palace—the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots—en route to Glencoe, a Highland glen filled with eerie tales about the Clan MacDonald massacre of 1692.

Journey onward through the 18th-century Fort William, and gaze out at the Scottish Highlands, including the Great Glen. Reaching Fort Augustus, disembark on the shores of Loch Ness, where you can opt for a seasonal boat ride on the loch and listen for the Loch Ness Monster ‘Nessie’ on the sonar system. (Cruises run from Easter to the end of October.)

After you purchase lunch (own expense), continue your drive to Cairngorms National Park via Spean Bridge village. Take in the views of Loch Laggan and the windswept mountains, including Craig Meagaidh, where the TV series 'Monarch of the Glen' was filmed.

There is no Scotland without the Highlands!

One of the most worthwhile tours anyone can do while visiting Edinburgh. Not to be missed! I did the trip solo and met some wonderful people that were taking the tour with me. The tour was very well organised with hygiene and health and safety being a top priority. We had a wonderful driver and tour guide called Dougie who has immense knowledge of history and guided us through all the stories and background of the Highlands. This was an added bonus to our experience and made the trip even more interesting. The stops for photos were frequent and with further options for activities (Eg boat tour to Loch Ness). We were back in time feeling excellent from the great experience. Thank you for the excellent day trip

Our guide was great, it is a lot of driving around, I think I would much prefer if it had more walking/hiking but over all we visited some very beautiful places and it was good. Bring food with you & water. There are stops on the way but just easier to have your own & you know what you going to have.

Well organized tour of the Highlands

Very well organized tour. There were a few tours leaving from the same spot that morning and all vans were prepared (ready with COVID checks) and left promptly on time. The trip itself covers a lot of terrain so naturally, you’re driving for a good portion of the day but no more than 2 hours at a time and with ample stops to use the restroom; it’s well thought out to be as comfortable as possible, given the vastness of the highlands. Our guide, Dom, was funny and informative, sharing not only historical facts but also more modern references to movie locations, which also added to the experience. Also love the format of the small group (there were 9 of us total so it felt like a nice intimate experience). Many thanks for the wonderful tour.

Spectacular Highlands

A spectacular tour of the Highlands and Loch Ness. The views were breathtaking and unreal. Be warned that this tour will be spent mostly in the coach and it is a long drive but all well worth-it. We were lucky to have a great and bubble tour guide. Definitely highly recommended tour!
