Board your coach in Florence, and travel into the hills of Tuscany where the city of Siena awaits. Opt to take a guided tour of the city with a visit to Siena Cathedral to admire its renowned Gothic architecture. Or, make the most of some free time to set your own pace, and perhaps enjoy a coffee in the sun alongside the locals.

From Siena, return to the Tuscan countryside to explore the Chianti wine region. Stretch your legs with a stroll through a vineyard, olive grove and wine cellar, and refuel with a Tuscan winery lunch. As you sit surrounded by the grape vines, meet other visitors to the area and indulge in local treats such as cold cuts of meat, salad, pasta and fresh bread. Even better, a wine tasting takes place at the same time. (If the tour option without lunch is chosen, this part of the tour is not included but there will be more time spent in San Gimignano).

After lunch, journey onward to San Gimignano with its medieval towers, cobbled streets and squares. Explore the town’s historic center, cool down with a refreshing gelato and wander amid the 14 towers as you learn about their history.

Travel from San Gimignano to Pisa: your final stop of the day. Follow your guide to Cathedral Square to discover Pisa Duomo, Pisa Baptistry, the monumental cemetery (aka Camposanto) and, of course, the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Return to Florence in the early evening, and finish your Tuscany tour with a drop-off at the start point.

Best tour ever!

I throughly enjoyed this tour :) It covered all the places I wanted to visit, there was enough time at each location and the lunch was great with four different types of wine and a spectacular view. I would recommend it to anyone. By far, the best tour I've ever joined. Many thanks to the driver, Antonio and the guide, Olivia.

Fantastic Highlights Tour

A fantastic tour, brilliantly organised. Ample time in each place to explore and see the highlights. Scenery is beautiful and very reasonably priced considering how difficult it would be to see all 3 locations in one day otherwise. Our host (Annalise) was fantastic, always smiling and asking after everybody.

Big thanks to both Emiliano and Alessandro for a great tour. I enjoyed Siena the most, but it's worth to take this tour and see all the other places in one day too.

We had a lovely time on our tour and would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Italy. Olivia was very well informed and helpful, going above and beyond to provide us insights into each city and also personalized recommendations for our stay in Florence. The tour is well designed and did an excellent job taking into account COVID safety considerations. We're really glad we did this.

Day trip to the Tuscan countryside

We had a lovely day trip to the outskirts of Florence. Our guide Sarah was lovely and super helpful and knowledgeable. The towns of Sienna and San Gimignano are amazing, like stepping back in time with so much culture and history backed up by food that is out of this world! The lunch in the Chianti region with wine tasting was superb and definitely worth another visit!

Tuscan day trip with Sarah

A highly recommended tour! We managed to see quite a lot in one day, without getting too tired. Definitely the best money spent so far during my 2 weeks trip, with visits to the Tuscan cities of Siena and San Gimignano, lunch at a vineyard in the Tuscan countryside in between and the day completed with a trip to Pisa. If you're impressed with the Duomo of Florence, wait till you see the Duomo of Siena! If you think you've had amazing gelato, wait till you try the world best gelato in San Gimignano! I can't praise our guide Sarah enough. She was really passionate about Tuscany and Italy, well organised and articulate. She was always there to help, whether to cater for different dietary requirements for lunch or for suggestions for the day trip and even our onwards travel. Overall an excellent experience which would have been missed if it wasn't for this tour

Such a good day travelling through Tuscany - our guide Olivia was brilliant, giving us loads of info along the way and recommendations too :) Siena and San Gimignano were beautiful cities and it was great to see the tower of Pisa up close too. The highlight was definitely the agriturismo wine and farm tour with lunch with amazing views over Chianti and San Gimignano in the distance.
