Return Details

Returns to original departure point
After pickup from your Grand Cayman hotel (pickup available from most island hotels) or cruise port, travel to the departure pier for your private cruise.

On arrival, meet your skipper and crewmate and let them know the two destinations you wish to visit from those on offer. Stops available include Stingray City, Coral Gardens, Starfish City, and Rum Point beach. As your cruise is private, you can decide how to share your time between your chosen destinations.

Then, get comfortable on the deck of your beautiful catamaran boat and after a safety briefing, set sail with your skipper at the helm. Absorb the views as you cut through the waves, and listen as your skipper points out places of interest along Grand Cayman’s coast. Soak up the sunshine and stay refreshed with the beverages provided on board.

Then, spend the time at your selected destinations as you please: swimming, snorkeling or just sunbathing and relaxing. Snorkeling equipment is available for you to use.

Get up-close with Southern stingrays at Stingray City, where Southern stingrays acclimatized to human interaction frequent the crystal-clear waters. Wade or snorkel in the shallows and enjoy a guided interaction with the rays, with a professional photographer on hand to take photos.

If you wish, visit Coral Gardens to snorkel around the vivid corals teeming with tropical fish, or head for Starfish City to view the bright red starfish laid on the seabed and lounge on the white sands.

Alternatively, you may want to simply while away the time at Rum Point, a gorgeous stretch of soft sands lapped by translucent waters and lined with palm trees and beach bars.

When it’s time, return to your catamaran and end your trip with a drop-off at the original starting point or if you wish, Seven Mile Beach.

We had an excellent time and were so glad that we booked our excursion w/ Rowan. They were happy to greet us and all was timely. The boat was super clean and included bathroom facilities. The best part was the personnel - Capt. Robert, Beecher and Jorgie were all amazing. They made sure that everyone was having a great time. We had time to snorkel, star fish beach and swim with sting rays. This was a great tour for my elderly mom. We were a group of 10 (1 child) so we opted to book this tour off of VIATOR. This was our favorite day of the week!!

This was a fantastic tour! I highly recommend it! The company that lead the tour was very knowledgeable and extremely kind. We went to stingray city and starfish city and both were AMAZING! My family had our own boat and we weren't crowded and had a lot of time with the stingrays. It was by far one of our favorite excursions! Thank you!

This was the highlight of our cruise - all 11 of us adults and kids mentioned this part of the cruise as one of their top two experiences. Easy to spot the folks when the ship docked, easy van ride to the boat, exceptionally nice staff on board who were very open about doing whatever we wanted. The woman who worked with the kids and took photos was excellent. You basically get to do three excursions in one with this trip. The only negative was the speech sort of begging for tips and a good review at the end - and the cost of their photos was extortion. Take your own. They don't need to ask for tips - they were stellar enough that we wanted to give them.
