Great trip.

Excellent trip. I would highly recommend for anyone. We did three snorkeling events and had a wonderful lunch.
Great day!

We arrived in the cruise terminal and were directed through the terminal and to the Captain Marvin shop which is just down the street. We checked in and were set to leave around 930. We confirmed with the driver that we would be back in time to make the ship's departure. The driver assured me we would be back in time. There were approximately 11 people in the van and we took a short drive to the boat. Half of the people in the van were taking a different excursion, so we ended up with only 7 people on our boat (plus the crew). The boat was spacious and clean. The crew took us to three different locations. First, we took a short boat ride across the bay to the reef where we snorkeled for conch. We found a few and the crew made conch ceviche for us to try. When we arrived at the second snorkel site (the reef), we were immediately greeted by several stingrays that were interested in the conch guts that had been discarded. This was our first introduction to the rays as they circled around us. This was a very cool experience. The reef was healthy (no bleaching) and was full of sea fans, and many species of corals and fish. We then went to Stingray City. The water was clear and shallow, only about 4 feet deep, with a sandy bottom. This was a great experience and fun interaction with the rays. Our guide held a couple of the rays and showed us how to interact with them. Rays were plentiful, curious, and gentle. I am not a fan of feeding the wildlife, but the guides do feed the rays which keeps them interested. We went to the Grand Cayman yacht club for lunch where our guides had prepared a wonderful lunch for us. Our guides were very professional, curteous, attentive, and informative. AND we were back in time for our cruise. We will go with Captain Marvin's again:)

We had a wonderful time with Capt. Eric and his crew. Beautiful snorkel spots and play with the stingrays. We even had a little extra time to stop at Starfish Point. Lunch was yummy, too!
Kissing the sea rays. And a delicious lunch at the yacht club

Excellent time so much fun diving for conch that the crew later prepared a delicious cerviche. The sting ray experience was awesome. The Rays were so tame we called the sea cats. They actually raised their heads, while we held them , for a kiss!! So cute. Would do it again I’m a heartbeat.
Stingrays, snorkel and lunch on the beach

You cannot go wrong with Captain Marvin's. Beach lunch, stingray and snorkel. I was pleasantly surprise of how delicious the lunch was. Being able to take pictures with the stingrays was amazing and the photos were very affordable only $50 for a couple which were very good pictures. If you buy them they simply give you a flash drive. If for some reason the flash drive doesn't work when you get home they give you an email and they never throw away the pictures.
Amazing Adventure
, Jul 2019
The Swimmin’ Chillin’ and Grillin’ snorkel trip was fabulous. It included a stop at the coral reef, where we encountered our first stingray; the barrier reef; Stingray City; lunch and Starfish Point. There were lots of colorful fish and interesting coral formations to see at the first two stops. But the crew made the stop at Stingray City a five-star day. They made sure everyone had a chance to feed and hold a stingray, even kissing it if you wanted to, and that we were able to get lots of great pictures of the action. Stingray City had lots of other tourists there at the same time, but our group seemed to have the rays swarming all around us, what an adventure. We had lunch on shore then back out to finish the tour with a stop at Starfish Point. There were only about a dozen starfish at this beautiful calm beach, but it was fun to discover them and hold them underwater. Don't miss out on this amazing adventure.
Poor Communication
, Apr 2019
We were told a representative would meet us at the pier once we docked. 30 minutes later. after several calls, we were told to walk 2 blocks to their office. Once we arrived to a line of about 30 people, we were told that we had missed the tour but would be on the next one. So we missed one of our stops and were with a family group of about 18 people who thought this was their private boat. We received no directions for lunch. We were docked at a restaurant so we thought we would order because lunch was included withe the tour. The waitress told us we were supposed to meet at some side tables on the side of the restaurant. Once we walked over, we found all the spots were taken. Two couples made a spot for us and we enjoyed a delicious lunch. I think this would be a great tour if they worked on their communication.
Best Choice in Grand Cayman

Captain Marvin's excellent boat tour was a highlight of our trip. His grandsons are a delightful crew focused on the pleasure of their guests. We highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting George Town.
Stingray City and Snorkel Tour was Wonderful

We got off the ship and walked down to Captain Marvin's. They took us by bus to the pier. We got on a beautiful boat and went out to Stingray City. It was a great experience. We saw 30-40 stingrays. They let us touch them. Lots of fun. Water was as clear as glass. The crew took pictures and we were happy to buy them for $40. We also stopped at 2 snorkel locations. You can't go wrong by choosing this tour/excursion.
