Meet your guide in the lobby of the China Hotel, Guangzhou, and begin your 7-hour tour. Then, head for Yuexiu Park, the city’s largest park, and composed of hilly gardens and monuments.
View the symbolic Five Rams statue, and hear the ancient legend that inspired it. Then, continue to the Museum of the Mausoleum of the Nanyue King. Head inside to view the 2,000-year-old tomb of the king Zhao Mo, along with a treasure-trove of cultural and funerary relics, including his jade burial suit.
Next, ride the metro to the Chen Clan Academy, a 19th-century temple where youngsters trained for Qing dynasty examinations. Wander around the richly decorated Cantonese buildings before catching the metro to Shamian Island, a British and French colony during the 1800s.
View the colonial-era buildings here, and after a Cantonese dim sum lunch, take a public sightseeing cruise on the Pearl River to the Canton TV Tower. Admire the riverfront buildings and bridges, and disembark to admire the 1,968-foot (600-meter) tower.

Itinerary
At 9:30am, we will pick you up from your centrally located hotel in Tianhe, Yuexiu, Liwan or Zhizhu District in Guangzhou, otherwise meet you at the meeting place. Then you will start to explore Guangzhou with a local guide. Firstly you will visit the nice Yuexiu Park where you will view the old city wall and 5-Ram Statue.

Then you will go to Shamian Island, a small island in the Pearl River, which used to the British and French colony 200 years ago. It is nice to wander around the old street between the Western architectures. Depending time, you will have included Cantonese dim sum lunch.

Later, you will take a day cruise on the Pearl Rive, which offers you an opportunity to view the buildings along the river. The last stop is the impressive Canton Tower, which was built in 2010 with a height of 600 meters. If you wish, you can buy a ticket(excluded) to take the lift to the observation floor to view the entire city.
Your trip then concludes at the tower square, where you can take a metro or cab back to your hotel.
