Even though the ice cave experience...

Even though the ice cave experience wasn't optimal due to weather and water levels, our guide made sure we made up for it with other fun activities. We got to see down a moulin, walk on the glacier, briefly go in an ice cave, and explore the remnants of a collapsed cave from the previous year. Our guide balanced information, safety, and humor, making it a great experience overall. I would definitely do this tour again and recommend it to others!

We were a group of 4 and everything...

We were a group of 4 and everything was great leading up to the caves. We departed around 1pm and the drive was exciting on the superjeep. We were excited to put on the crampons and make our way through the wind blasting glaciers. The upside was that our tour guide was really nice and accommodating in taking pictures for everyone and leading us through the short hike to the cave. The experience, however, doesn't live up to the photographs and the descriptions of being inside the cave for 1- 1.5 hr. I can understand that this is a natural phenonmenon and if the water level is high or the caves arent ready that it could be dangerous, but we should have been notified and noted especially if we're travelling 5 hours away and spending so much money. We saw what was a cave in the formation and it was about 30 minutes of photographs. I just want to share this with everyone so you can dial down your expectations a little bit and consider other tours as well. Again, thumbs up for the super nice guide, thumbs down for misleading advertisement.
