Over priced

The tour guide was good, and seemed knowledgeable. We did see lots of different animals, so that was nice. But for the price we paid, it was totally overpriced. Dinner was a deli sandwich, chips, apples, cookie. Due to traffic we were running behind on pickups. It’s not worth the value.

Our guide was friendly and accommodating. We saw elk, pronghorn, ground squirrels, and bison. He tried hard to find a bear, although the bears were not cooperating. The air conditioned tour vehicle was appreciated in the hot summer weather.

Phillip was a great host. Had a wonderful time. Evening tour in the peak season was the best option, unless you enjoy the crowd and stuck behind long line of cars.

Phil our guide and driver was very informed, helpful and did everything he could to make our tour outstanding. We saw bison, elk, bears, moose, beavers and other wildlife. More than I have ever seen before. I would highly recommend Yellowstone Day Tours.

Not worth the money

Driver picked us up 20 minutes late. We were last in group of 10 to be picked up and on way to get us, they stopped at a deli and bought food and had a restroom stop. We did not get a chance to do either after driving 30 miles to meet the group. Driver drove fast, slammed on squeaking brakes several times when someone spotted wildlife, which was a little concerning. He did not know answers to may questions about sites on the tour, and told us to look things up on phone apps instead. When it came time for our picnic meal, he was short two meals and made everyone uncomfortable because we all offered our food to the two guests who were not served. Then, he stopped at a restaurant and was able to get them fresh salads, while we were eating stale bread sandwiches. His explanation: "I'm just the driver."

Not worth the expense

The meals were missing and the guide had to buy two more. The trip itself was informative but the guide too often drove quickly not permitting an opportunity to see wildlife. Our feeling is that we could have done almost as well on our own.
