All day parking is available in the parking lot. *Those meeting at the Downtown Jasper should check-in 15 minutes prior to their tour's departure time.

  • To request complimentary pick-up from your accommodation, please specify which hotel you are staying at. Pickup times vary therefore your exact pick-up time will be confirmed upon booking.
  • If you are staying outside of Jasper, please specify Jasper Downtown Location - at Two Brothers Totem Pole across from Parks Canada Information Center on Connaught Drive. Your meeting time will be 15 minutes prior to your trip’s departure time. All-day parking is located in the parking lot.

The tour guide and all logistics were very good. The guide shared excellent information about the area and animals. Unfortunately, we did not see many animals. I.e. a very short glimpse of a bear with cubs and one bighorn sheep. The lake cruise, if the combo tour was purchased, was very similar with nice people and equipment but much the same view as other surrounding lakes had. To be fair, we had traveled around the area before taking this tour. If this is the only tour you take, it would probably be very interesting for you.

The wildlife defiantly adds to the experience getting to see Wildlife in there natural eco-system even if you didn't get to see them for long its nice to know they are still there. The views are very similar at the lakes the big thing is Spirit Island and all the amazing stories and healing powers it has to offer. Thats why the is land with the view behind it is so iconic. What a great experience. Jake, our tour guide, kept everyone engaged with great local knowledge and anecdotes for previous tours. He was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to engage with everyone in the group. The scenery was spectacular. The waterfalls were amazing and his knowledge of karst system was quite informative. We did see several elk including one young buck with a well developed set of antlers and two bears; one quite close up. Finally, the Maligne Lake cruise was amazing. The trip up to the lake with guides Jack and Martha was very good. The picturesque Spirit Island was arguably the highlight of the day. Thanks Maligne Tours for a very memorable day!

Marc was a terrific guide who had so much knowledge about the wildlife, the canyon, the ecology and the indigenous history. We saw so much wildlife on this trip including elk, black bear, grizzly bear, bald eagle and he never rushed the tour. He really appealed to the curiosity and interest of his group. I would highly recommend this tour.

I love excursions with a tour guide and this one did not disappoint. The van was clean with big windows, polite and knowledgable driver (Has family in Calgary, sorry cannot recall name), enough stops for toilet breaks if needed. Lauren and Nat from the Maligne Lake cruise were also exceptional. Mom’s of these three young people, be proud they’re doing great! Being a Jasper tour is self explanatory for how magnificent the scenery is during the tour. The most memorable is the wild fire actually. It has been smoky the past few days but we've heard from a number of guides that this is how nature goes through rebirths. All the Viator tours have been really good. Highly recommend.

I did not know what to expect. Kelly our tour guide was simply a delight to listen to. She was fun, knowledgeable, patient and had an eye for the local Wild Life. I gained so much new information. I had questions before this tour and I received replies promptly that was truly helpful. On the Maligne Lake leg of this guided tour Nick and Annabelle were awesome! They made me feel safe and offered up so much information Maligne Lake surrounded by the mountain ranges and finally Spirit Island should be on anyone's bucket list. Thank you guys for making this vacation truly an awesome experience.

Tour was great. Guide very knowledgeable. Main COMPLAINT - booked tour in Canada through Viatour Canadian site .... quoted in $Canadian but BILLED in $US. Total rip off and most likely illegal. Viatour very difficult to reach customer service. After 40 min on phone they said there was nothing they would due!! Promised to look into discrepancies and try to ‘fix it’. Viatour is a Trip Advisor company. BEWARE WHEN BOOKING FROM CANADA!!!!

Having a guide like Ross, a wildlife photographer, made this an unforgettable adventure. We saw Elk, big horn sheep and mule deer as well as countless sights we will never forget. The cruise of Maligne Lake and tour of Spirit Island were the highlight of our trip to he Canadian Rockies. Carlos was our guide and his extensive knowledge and sense of humor made this aspect very special. I recommend this tour without reservation and hope others have the opportunity to experience this part of Canada from this special perspective.
