Great more active adventure to burn off some calories put on while on vacation.

Our guide Igor was waiting for us when we got off the ship. After a ride through the hills of Kotor we arrived at our destination. The kayaking was great. We were able to go into a couple of great caves. Some of the hardier (dumber) kids did some swimming in the cave. It was great to do something more active after sitting on a cruise ship. Highly recommend.

Despite an incredible wind the evening before, timely and clear communication with the tour company allowed us to delay our start time and experience the perfect kayak adventure to the blue cave and a few other nearby caves that larger boats are not able to access. Photos don't do the vivid colors justice. Tilen, our guide, provided good equipment and gentle guidance. This was a highlight of our stay in Montenegro!

really fun, the slovenian man was great and tried to help us and gave us info about where we were and what we were doing.
in terms of safety it feels like you are following your adventurous older brother - its normally fine but you might have to call your mum to come and pick you up at any minute.

Had the most incredible time out kayaking and snorkeling with Molly and Jeffrey. We booked pretty last minute and it ended up just the two of us booked in! We went on the early outing and had the cave to ourselves before all the boat trips arrived. We also got to see some other fantastic caves and got a bit of cliff jumping in too at the end. Thoroughly recommend to anyone who loves getting out and about on the water.

A most awesome day!!!

We were collected from the cruise terminal as arranged. As we drove to the site to pick up the kayaks, Jeffrey was a wealth of information about Montenegro and it’s history which was excellent. The kayaks were fantastic for beginners, very stable and easy to climb into from the water when you jumped in for a swim. The area we paddled was simply amazing, the water was sublime and the scenery spectacular.
After finishing the paddle we had a light lunch from a little cafe where we had parked. It was humble and delicious!
Totally recommend this tour to anyone. No paddling experience necessary but ability to swim is a definite advantage.
Thanks Jeffrey for a great day 👍
Blue agate waters and a relaxed pace

This was the most amazing sea kayaking trip I’ve ever done! The Adriatic was a crazy shade of teal/turquoise with crystal clear water so we could see the sandy bottom in the shallows where we swam. The high salt content makes treading water a pleasure (compared with a pool) and the Blue cave is absolutely stunning. There is a lot of motor boat traffic (read stinky gasoline) but in the periods without boats it’s heavenly. Our guides (Dutch and English) took us to the less frequented smaller caves where the tour boats could not get to and we glided into bat caves and awesome deep blue. The weather was perfect. We could hop out of the kayaks and swim anytime and anyplace. The guides were super laid back and patient. Our row to the caves and back was about half hour and the water was pretty calm. The bus drive to the launch site was winding but the guides were careful drivers and no one got car sick. There were showers available at the camp site when we got back and extra swimming time which was perfect. Only down side was I only saw one fish! As compared to the pacific this ocean has been over fished. Not no muddy rivers to spoil the clear waters. Overall an amazing experience!!

We got picked up in a van that looked like it was about to break down.
Our tour guides did the bare minimum to give us information along the way and at the sites.
The equipment was fantastic but to pay this much...he experience could have been a lot better.
We paddled for maybe an hour and we were done in three. Definitely not the best use of money.

TOUR OPERATOR COMMENT: Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear this tour did not meet your expectations. The van we use is reliable and practical for the roads here, and considering the fact that we get people in wet swimsuits. Generally people don't mind the van as it's quaint in it's own way. The paddling to the cave takes 40 minutes and back takes 40 minutes and so there's never a time when people spend less than 2 hours on the water, as people always swim and we attend more than one cave, each for 10-20 minutes. We're sorry if these details affected your overall enjoyment of the tour but hope you had a pleasant stay in Kotor.

After minor confusion at the pier we were able to contact and meet with this tour. If you have questions on where the meeting location is ask the works in the white booth who are located at the entrance of the gate to the cruise terminal. They kindly called the tour guide and gave us perfect directions to the meeting point. While on our 10 minute walk from the pier to the meeting location a gentleman on a motorcycle stopped and asked if we were part of his group. He further guided us to the location. After meeting our tour guide we boarded a van and drove roughly 45 minutes to the kayak launch site. Our guide kept us well entertained and telling us about the history of the area, culture and was begging for us to ask him questions. Upon arriving at the Kayak launch site, restrooms were provided along with a small cafe where they had drinks and small food. The water was extremely rough that day and our guide expressed it would not be safe for us to enter the water. All guests agreed and the guide stated he will have our money refunded. Even though the main tour had to be canceled, our guide went out of his way to take us to a beautiful picture location that allowed us to over look the valley and the anchored cruise ships below. The guide was very passionate about his job and we could tell he hated to have to cancel the trip. I have good belief that if the seas were more calm this would have been an amazing experience.

We loved this day out!!
We were in Kotor for the day via a cruise ship.
After about a 15-20 minute walk, we found the meeting point at the main office.
Our lovely tour leader his name I cannot remember, but he has a beautiful young daughter Helena I think??!!
Anyway, he was wonderful and very passionate about his job and the environment of Montenegro!
The 4 of us joined the others 8 in totaland were taken by van to our destination to start our kayaking.
It was about 30-40 min drive away from kotor out to a local camping ground and beach where the kayaks were ready and waiting.
With some basic instructions we were helped into the kayaks and on our way, with the help also of one other person who met us on site.
Weather conditions and personal abilities will help decide what route will be taken. One young couple on our trip were having some difficulties so our guides swapped them around and all was well.
We paddled off into a few grottos with amazing clear blue water and we could swim in the main cave if we wanted to. The main cave is where all the other motorised tourist boats gather also.
The 4 of us are in our late 50s and early 60s, with little to no experience, but we surprised ourselves and managed very well. Also with our expert instructions, NONE of us pulled up sore the next day!
After finishing we were able to have a nice swim off the rocks and it was possible to have a rinse off and change to dry clothes.
There was also enough time to buy ourselves a local snack and drinks from the campground kiosk. Such lovely people run the campground and relaxing there topped off our day!
I would highly recommend this trip!

The guides were very helpful and steered us into and through some very amazing caves. The drawbacks - van is old and not air conditioned, making for an extremely uncomfortable ride in 90 degree hear. The snorkeling equipment was broken down and worthless - four of us had to share one functional mask and snorkel set. And this one is entirely personal, but 2-1/2 hours paddling a kayak is extremely difficult even if you're in good shape. Our kids gave up paddling, which made it even worse, but YMMV.

Awesome!! This trip was a highlight of our 2mths away. Bojan, one of the company owners, is the nicest guy and just wants you to have fun and experience his country and culture. We did 2 trips with Montenegro and would do another 20! Nothing was a problem. Great company, professional, friendly and welcoming. The blue caves are something everyone should experience. The kayak to the caves is a little strenuous but the guides help out people who need it. The water is crystal clear and the caves are phenomenal. We would do this trip again. Thanks Bojan - you made our trip with your enthusiasm and great fun personality.

Kayaking was so much fun and Blue Cave was beautiful. Too many boats to swim though. The tour guides were amazing and provided much Montenegro info along the drive. The ride to kayaking is about 30 min. My only recommendation would be to provide directions to meeting location. It was hard to find.

This tour was incredible. Run by Montenegro who are a very good company. Our tour guide, Bojan, made this experience so much more incredible due to speaking English well and his great sense of humour and passion for Montenegro. He even bought us all a beer as it was somebody's birthday on the tour!! The tour itself was awesome we had a small group of 6 people in total and is much more than just the blue cave. Bojan took us to other amazing coastline sites and other caves that were even better than the blue cave. There is plenty of oppertunity for swimming, which was great. We were heading up to Durmitor national park after Kotor, and Bojan even recommended other companies for us to contact to book the best rafting tour possible. An aweosme, fun tour which we will never forget!

The guide Bojan was excellent - he knows all the history of Montenegro, can answer any question and is a nice positive guy.
There is a one big problem with the excursion - there were only kayaks for two persons, you couldn't get yourself a kayak for you only. It's not a problem if you are with a friend but if you are alone - you'll get stuck with somebody else who you might not like at all.
One big WARNING! If you are old, weak, lazy, if you cannot paddle - keep away from the excursion! Otherwise you will slow down the whole group. This excursion requires physical activity - don't assume somebody is going to help you to get there. Stay home and watch Discovery, don't overestimate your abilities
Be responsible because other people want to have a great time and not wait for you or worse...

Amazing can we give a 6? Bojan and Tim from Montegro+ exceeded any expectation we could had. I never kayaked before but with Marco's patient teaching I made it to the blue caves with time to swim and relax. It was an unbelievable experience. Shari and I will be back to Montenegro...we loved it!

We had a great time Kayaking in Kotor. There were two guides and a total of 6 kayaks in our group Two people per kayak. The trip was so much fun. The water was beautiful and kayaking into and through the caves was really fun and beautiful. My only disappointment was that we didn't get to snorkel as advertised. When we arrived in the Blue Cave we were told we could swim if we wanted, but no snorkel equipment. I don't think there were any fish to see though.
