  • Please note that the maximum size of bags and backpacks allowed on the museum grounds is 30 x 20 x 10 centimetres (roughly 12 x 8 x 4 inches). You can always leave your belongings inside the vehicle, or in the luggage store in Auschwitz.
  • Tickets for children (3-11) includes entrance ticket without the receivers and headphones in Auschwitz. If you want your child to visit with headset please book "Youth tickets"
  • Free tickets for an individual entrance, are available to collect at the day of the visit, only at the official museum ticket office. Every participant collects a ticket personally. Tickets are per name, to receive ticket it is mandatory to have any document or ID. Tour operator always try to help all participants to collect tickets for the individual entrance for themselves, but do not provide tickets by itself. On tour with the guide, tickets and guide service are included in the price.
  • Operates in all weather conditions, but remember that it is a memorial site, please dress appropriately
  • Youth tickets discount is only with valid student ID card, on the day of the tour. Please ensure to take student ID card with you, otherwise you will need to pay an extra fee for an adult ticket
  • Regarding Terms of Use at the Auschwitz & Birkenau Museum, it is mandatory to provide full names of all participants of the tour.
  • Most travelers can participate
  • Before start we measure the temperature of every participant
  • We may refuse to attend on the tour for customers having temperature over 37.5°C (99.5°F)

From the pick up to the point of return the whole experience was fantastic. We had a friendly, knowledgeable driver who gave us interesting facts along the journey. When we arrived at Auschwitz it was an amazing sight. The harrowing ordeal those prisoners went through is unimaginable. We did the individual tour which allowed us to roam at our own pace and reflect without being hurried along to the next monument. I would definitely recommend this trip.

We visited Auschwitz birkenau as part of our Kraków trip and it was amazing. Although the tour is very sad and sombre (very tearful at some points) reading about the harrowing things the prisoners went through, I was glad I went. The whole experience from when our driver picked us up to when he dropped us off (from our hotel), we couldn’t ask for better service. Thank you Viator, will definitely book through you again.

The guide was good and helpful. The tour was well organised and punctual and very good value for money. My only negative comment is that for a 80+ minute journey on not very good/straight roads, an eight-seater people carrier was too small and crowded for the eight adults travelling which meant my companion felt a little nauseated and uncomfortable by the time we arrived. Otherwise, very happy!
