Exceptional experience. We ended up getting a private tour as there were a couple of no shows. Pamela, our guide from Invictur tours was brilliant! Lots of local knowledge and insights to share. A fantastic surprise at the end was getting to see Raphael’s first drafts of the Vatican paintings that were discovered behind wallpaper in a locals apartment! I’d highly recommend this tour particularly if you’ve already seen Rome and/or want to stay away from the hordes of tourists in Rome.

We really enjoyed this tour. It was perfect for a look around the city for those who don't want a long excursion into Rome (we had already been and our kids weren't interested). There were a lot of very interesting things to see in the city, especially the discovered paintings in the apartment building. We would highly recommend it!

Really enjoyed this tour. Margaret, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the city and I learnt so much from her. She took us to see so much and we had the opportunity to see things about the city we would never have been able to see on our own. Thank you for an amazing tour.
