Great way to spend a day.

Kent, the guide for all three facets of the tour was very informative and a wealth of knowledge. We had a private tour, thanks to the rainy weather. The country side tour through the various farm areas was fun, we learned a lot about schools, farming, buggies and crops. The theater, and the movie, Jacob’s Choice showed the path taken by a young man and how he wrestled with his faith. The home tour was great, we learned so much about the daily life of a family.

Decided the night before to drive from Long Island to Amish country. Decided to do the triple package on the way up. My 3 tweens ages 10, 12 and 13 absolutely loved this experience. Each one had a different tour which was their favorite. I had gone up every year with my parents as a kid so it brought back lots of memories for me too. Our tour guide was great and Very knowledgeable, loved the dairy farm! The school house was charming and the movie was insightful. Thanks for a great day trip! I’ve already posted your tour on Facebook so my friends could go!

We purchased the SuperSaver package and enjoyed the drive through the farmlands, the media experience Jacob's Choice and the farmhouse and one-room school house tour was fascinating. I thought it was interesting to learn how to spot an Amish home. Our guide gave us the history of the Amish in America as well and answered all of our questions.

ThIS package was the very best part of our stay in Lancaster P.A.We were greeted by friendly and professional hosts,as we arrived at the tour location in Lancaster.
The first part of the journey was a beautiful tour through the Amish countryside,in a very modern tour van, which would hold up to 20 people.,very comfortable. We were greeted by our driver, who,we believe was Amish himself..and he was an outstanding Tour guide,we asked questions during his trip through the countryside, and he even stopped at a market along the way.He told us the following day,he was helping farmers clear their corn fields.
Our Second part of our journey, took us inside to a theater, where we saw a film on the life of an Amish boy, making the decision in his own life ,to stay with the Amish,or leave. The tour guide here was absolutely Outstanding! she gathered all of us,a group of about 20,and walked us through an Amish house,Authentic.,and took us on a beautiful journey throughout the home. She described their entire home, their way of life, showed us every single part of clothing, from newborn to Adult, that the amish wear...and in great detail. She talked about every appliance they use,how they were powered,if any,as we walked tgrough two stories of the entire house. It was a facinating experience, and the very BEST part of entire stay. Then the tour guide walked us into the schoolhouse, and was so descriptive,in full detail, just like the Amish home.
Last we went on a buggy ride,a private company located in the lot near the schoolhouse. The driver,Aaron? was the very best in taking us on a beautiful journey...we asked questions all the way,and he was just another fantastic part of our Amish Experience.
My wife and i seldom get away, but ,this was an absolute joy for us,and we will never forget each and every one of our guides, who opened up our eyes and our Hearts, about the Amish people of Lancaster County

We had 3 stops. And really only enjoyed 1 of them - visiting the milk farm. We found the others quite boring which was a pity because they had potential to be good for example when we went to visit the Amish home we all sat around a circle and were told to ask questions but no one was really asking questions since we were strongly warned to be careful with what we asked. I would suggest you have the Amish family start talking and that will enable people to ask question and open up.

Our guide Jenifer was terrific, very knowledgeable and helpful. We actually had her for every part of the tour except the buggy ride;We learned so much about the Amish way of life,as well as something about the Mennonites. She discussed how the Amish had lived in the past,as well as how they are adapting to 2019...using solar panels and propane, for example. They also raise dogs for sale, make handcrafts and furniture, and the men travel to construct barns. The women make quilts and grow flowers in greenhouses. The young people travel on scooters and skates.
