I booked this tour a week earlier (for 9am session) and no communication from the operator to confirm. On the Day -1 the tour operator chat me through TripAdvisor said “pickup and drop off at hotel” so I replied and asked what time he will pick me up but no answer. Since the tour started at 9am (based on the app) so I waited at 9am but no one pick me up and it was raining so I thought the tour got canceled but no update at all from the operator, at 9.30 I tried to call the operator and he blame me that I didn’t call earlier. I said I already replied to him on the chat and he didn’t reply me back, then he only said he didn’t check the chat (no apology), so obviously it wasn’t my fault. Then he said my tour will be reschedule to 2pm (if I didn’t call I would never know) and I asked him why he didn’t contact me and he said because he doesn’t know my detail (phone number & hotel) but I’m sure TripAdvisor already have all my details (esp. my hotel name). The tour operator wasn’t nice and impolite on the phone and he was emotional as well.
So anyway, they pick me up for 2pm tour (finally) and the tour was kind of below expectation because apparently there’s no tour guide and unorganized. I’d suggest don’t book tour and just go to the jetty (by grab) and join a boat trip there.
